We booked a room for 374 HK$ and for that price, it was excellent value. The hotel location of Aberdeen is full of local restaurants for food and there is fast access by number 70 bus to Central. The rooms are very large for this price bracket and reasonably well maintained. There are Bibles provide in your room so there... More

Very spacious clean rooms in nice local area with excellent bus services all over the territory. You would pay a lot more than this for equivalent in more central areas of the island or Kowloon. Nearby streets contain good range of local cafes and small restaurants at cheap prices.

decent budget place to stay for exploring hongkong. Rooms were generally clean althought network coverage was an issue. the staff was helpful in giving direction in and about Hongkong. Value for money considering the charges.

Worst hotel I've stayed in. Located close to public transport in a quiet residential area close to Aberdeen.Room at first seemed ok and big for Hong Kong. We only wanted something simple to spend the night in and have a hot shower. Neither happened.Price was good for a last minute booking but not low.State of the room was horrendous.Paper-thin walls... The location was OK, nothing fancy and in the South part of the Hong Kong island, next to Aberdeen. The buses were running very frecuently and was easy to move arround the island. The room was big, smells to cigarette, even when there was a sign that was not allowed to smoke inside. The floor was dirty, there was a... More

For Hong Kong this is one of the best choices around. Our room was huge. We had a King size bed which was rock hard unfortunately .The room has a fridge and good wifi as the modem is right in the room. Our room wasn't the cleanest. The bathroom had black hairs all over the floor. The staff were ok... More

Looking for a cheap hotel in Hong Kong? It's a sure bet that the Caritas Oswald will crop up near the top of your search results. And to be honest it really isn't bad. However, one thing you won't see advertised on the price comparison websites is the background of this hotel. Not being particularly religious I was of the... More

Stayed for a few nights in HK. The hotel is a budget hotel. Located a bit remote from HK down town the rate just beats it. So, don't expect any luxury or boutique hotel - it's pure basic accommodation. Ps: don't forget your flip flops as the bathroom is not that tidy...!

Really disappinted with the hotel. It may be a perfect choice for a budget traveler (perhaps from the tourists around the area or South China) but hardly any class to it. It took exactly 5 trips to the room to open with their electronic key. There was a goof up (on my part) in my reservation but they would not... More

We have stayed here for two weeks and have absolutely no complaints. Nice spacious and spotlessly clean rooms and bathrooms. Anything you need just ask as nothing to much trouble. Good breakfast offered, bacon and eggs! Hotel in Aberdeen and has plenty of taxis and good bus service to Central District and Ferry terminals. Would stay here again and highly... More
