During our choir tour to China, we stayed in this hotel for two nights. As you would expect with a group of around 100 people we wanted somewhere where we could relax after a concert and before heading for bed. There was nowhere and we were directed by the staff to a little supermarket just up the road where we...

We stayed here for a couple of nights as part of a large group. Our 11th floor room was large, stylish and well-appointed. The bathroom was lovely and the rest of the room did not disappoint. Breakfast was served on Floor 7, and is organised on a voucher system. You only get a single voucher per room so make sure...

The hotel puts on a reasonable show with marble floors, polished brass and a huge chandelier, but there is no bar (despite the legend in the lift claiming a "lobby bar" on the ground floor and "book bar" on the 6th) and not even a public area where a group of friends could sit to chat. So, in the evenings...

Im sure back in the day this hotel flourished in the centre part of the old city. but now it is in a sad state, its worn out everything is on the shabby side, even the staff have lost their enthusiasm. terrible internet connection. single grazed windows freezing in the winter, no central heating, with a poor blow heater which...

I was pleased with the size of the room I had on the 22nd floor. Separate sleeping and living areas. Had a little issue with the wifi but it was quickly fixed. Good breakfast. Not far from a eating street, lakes, and a section of the Ming Wall.

I stayed for two nights in this hotel. It is somewhere between a 4-star and 3-star hotel. The rooms are large and top floors have a good view of the Nanjing lake ; there is no mini bar and the coffee-tea maker is without options - one teabag of green tea and one teabag of black tea -- no coffee...

The Phoenix Palace Hotel is one of Nanjing's older four stars; it seems to have had a lot of use and all of its appointments must be due for a makeover. So I would offer three and a half stars. It's very close to a lot of restaurants and shopping, and close to the Metro station of Xuanwumen. Beyong this...

There were three of us staying for one night at this hotel. A minor issue did arise when the extra bed was not delivered to the room, despite us specifically asking for an extra bed. The phone in the room didn't work, or rather, it couldn't connect us to the receptionist and hence one of us had to make a...

This hotel is very dated, rooms are not very well furnished. No mini bar, if you need anything you have to call room service. Cleaning of carpets on our floor was in operation during the stay. Reception, Concierge and Deputy Manager did not speak English. Breakfast was poor, not a lot more can be said about this hotel, except only...
