Stayed here as it was part of a group trip. The hotel is budget and provided everything needed for a budget hotel. If you are wanting good water pressure, consistant hot water, fancy bedding/beds, wifi in rooms, then this is not the place for you. A tired flight from Chengdu , arrived at Lhasa airport greeted by a Tibet Tour agent & over 1 hour drive to the Hotel in a cold morning. Arrived at the Hotel, so exhausted which I did not realize the room is small, dirty with torn curtains, torn towel , dirty tea cups till my roommate from the Tour bursted...

we stayed here cuz we were traveling with a budget. The room was full of dust, bed is super hard! it was actually a box spring, no mattress. Toilet paper super cheap and elastic???? Breakfast horrible, sliced cheese, hard bread, sugar "juice" with orange colorant-this is what they called orange juice......although it was a cheap stay, the place is quiet...

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The rooms are quite nice, quite clean, but very quiet: the beds are hard but I slept like a baby. Breakfast does not propose much choice, but the fresh and unsweetened yogurt is very good, as is the muesli and you can order omelet.

I travel a lot and most of these reviews are quite negative and by reading thru the lines it looks like the average tourists chose to stay in a budget hotel and didn't like it. Here is my feeling: 1) Budget means budget in every country so if you want clean, perfect condition and neat, don't do budget hotels anywhere...

The company I traveled with booked us here. We had no choice. Check-in took a long time. I was assigned a room by the street without any heater. It was extremely cold. I had a very hard king-size bed. I paid single supplement so I expected a half-way decent room. It so happened that my tour advisor was in Lhasa...

We had a group of 31 people on pilgrimage. We stayed 2 nights, on 31st Sept and on 11th Sept. And on both occasions, we were charged unreasonably for room items "damaged" as claimed by the manager and staff. This hotel is located reasonably close to the city center. The rooms are comfortable and clean. We stayed in two different rooms. One was near the street and noisy. It also took about 30 minutes to get hot water in the morning. (Maybe this is because we got up early. It was not an issue in the second room). Breakfast...

Good location and nice people. Internet in Lobby and wi-fi... forget the star ratings. The beds were really hard.. think box springs without a mattress.
