When we were in Jakarta, New Idola Hotel was the second place we have changed after the small guest house. I and my partner we liked it, has large rooms and low prices and the cleaning service was working effectively. Everytime I went to Jakarta, most of my time will be staying in this Hotel. The only reason is because just in front of it there is Busway or Trans Jakarta station. So its very easy to travel around with that mass public transport. The hotel condition, its OK. Well dont expect a 5 star services in a budget hotel....

I believe that this is the de facto hotel for government officials and that is their main trade. It's certainly not one for visiting tourists or those otherwise on non government business! The room was basic, poor a/c but functional enough for an overnight stay. We went downstairs for a beer and the service was the worst I've ever witnessed...
