This is a great liitle Hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are nice and prices reasonable, BUT : A small local Mosque placed their speakerbox right in front to this hotel and so punctually every morning at 4am you get woken up by the very loud and long islamic prayer. Impossible to sleep on! With all my...

We decided to stay here very last minute and were glad we did. The hotel is very nice, with good quality wifi, a peaceful courtyard, and pleasant staff. Rooms are simple: A/C, private bathroom, *sturdy* beds. Included in your room stay are standard Indonesian amenities like daily free water bottles, simple breakfast, and afternoon tea with snacks. This hotel is...

We had a very pleasant stay at the Kirana Hotel and enjoyed the time there already twice. The staff is very friendly and open-hearted, all our needs and wishes have been completely fulfilled. There is a green courtyard, where you can relax from all the noise of the city. The rooms don't have so much daylight, but are clean and...

The best thing about this hotel is its friendly staffs. They become the reason for our returning stay for a couple more times after the first doubtful stay. It's a small but homey hotel with a koi pond and a garden in the middle (although watch out for mosquitoes and the pond when you're travelling with small children). My son...

We were greeted very friendly by the hotel staff, when arriving at 7 AM (!). We didn't expect to be able to check-in yet, and just wanted to drop our bags. After a 4 AM start, we were really pleased to be able to go to our room and even get a free welcome coffee. The room is basic and...

I would recommend if you are looking for a cheap, nice, clean hostel when you are visiting Yogyakarta. I stayed here with my family in April 2011 for a long-weekend-holiday. Thankfully, we got connecting twin rooms. The hostel located in Jalan Prawirotaman, one of the backpackers main street in Yogyakarta. Every small hotel in this city offers only a modest...

We booked two rooms via email, one double and one twin, both with AC for 400,000 rupiah (about $45) each. The rooms are extremely clean, quiet and comfortable, though they are not large rooms. The beds were comfortable too. There is a small tv but not many channels to choose from. Wifi worked fine in the rooms. Location was great,...

We were staying in another hotel and decided to switch over to Kirana. The service was great. Especially the night shift Mr Eddy. He's always greeted us with warm welcome when we return to the hotel and went the extra mile to prepare tea and snacks for us, even late nights... The room was impressively clean! And bedsheets and towels...
