Cool garden, lovely mosaic, good rooms, decent breakfast, and great location. First night in Indonesia and everything seemed awesome. Would've given at least 4/5 if it wasn't for the bedbugs (my partner had severe allergic reaction to the bites). Managers don't seem to understand the problem. Other guests didn't seem to experience the problem, so maybe it's only in our...

Homestay with a nice garden where breakfast is served. The room is comfortable with an a/c. Don't put it to low when you sleep under just a sheet in a nice large bed with mosquito net. The shower only had cold water which is nice after a hot sweaty day. The location is perfect and quiet. Around the corner all...

We arrived at Yogyakarta coming from Jakarta and, after having a long search around the town, stopped at every corner by the locals who were trying to sell their room, we finally found this little piece of peace called Dewi" home stay.nice room with ventilator, clean and cheap, only 150 roupies per night, for 2 people and breakfast included! Breakfast is served...

Nice looking rooms but bedbugs so I won't recommend this place. I saw them crawling on the bed. The problem has been going on for years and they don't do anything about it. The staff isn't really friendly as well.

The rooms are pretty. You get a breakfast is good and bigger than in other places. We got a low season price in July (180000 Rp./night). Location is perfect. The water in shower didn't sink after second day. In the bathroom a bad smell. Staff not very friendly. You don't feel at home in this homestay. No electricity for short...

The homestay itself is nice with a beautiful garden and nice rooms - unfortunately only on the first sight. I'm sorry that I can't recommend this place because of the bedbugs!! My friend got seriously bitten all over! We showed the owner the bites next day and he told us that these aren't bedbugs - so I'm sure he won't...

The homestay is quite basic and fine. The rooms are spacious and clean (for Indonesian standards). The homestay is located very near the mainroad. What we did not know is that the block on which the homestay was located functioned as a legal-prostitution area. So be aware when walking around in the evening. We discussed a price of 450.000 IDR...

It was very nice they let us check-in around 9am or so, when we arrived in Jogja, but we were not told there was a breakfast or even given towels. The room was nice enough but definitely not worth 200,000 IDR a night (for two people). The mosquito net had a few blood spots on it, the "door" to the...

s this was definitely overpriced in comparison to the much nicer homestays just minutes away. super hot rooms, flimsy curtain as a door to the shower/loo which doesn't give much privacy. you don't get a sink in your room, that's in the hall way. breakfast is fruit. and no wifi. it's a nice location but there are nicer places if...

We stayed a few nights at the Dewi Homestay in September 2014, and loved it! The people running this place are very friendly and welcoming. The room was simple but met our needs. This homestay is really beautiful, the garden is a peaceful heaven. It is greatly located near the railway station, near the animation of Jogjakarta. Last but not...
