They get two from me, as they saved us in very critical moment haha there was a long weekend in Indonesia and seemed like everyone in the country came to Yogyakarta. We were walking around for 3 hours searching for 2 beds. We reached Mercury, first they said they are full. I asked them in desparation if we can crash...

We stayed here for just one night. The room was dirty, the bathroom was falling apart and the sheets and pillows were disgusting. You could hear people talking on the porch which is quite annoying if it's late at night. The outdoor lights were shining directly onto the bed with no way of blocking them out. The breakfast was horrible...

Yes it is cheap, probably the cheapest around the area but it does not mean they should provide a dirty room with smelly pillows, broken shower, poor breakfast and terrible service… and that's what they do. We booked a standard room with double bed and they gave us a room with two single beds joined together by three small sheets....

The staff were friendly, breakfast was fine, hot water was very...

This is a terrible hotel. They refused me and my friend to stay even though we had a reservation through Agoda. This was at 4am after a exhausting bus journey. When we said we had a reservation the staff were dismissive and when asked if any guests would check to allow us to stay they refused to tell us. Staff...

The first night we stayed here our room was in the courtyard, had two twin beds instead of one large bed (even though we had made our reservation three months before), a small stationary fan that couldn’t really cool the room. Walls in desperate need of cleaning, grit on the floor. And because the courtyard is close to the street...

2 years ago one of the staff had stolen my laptop. Because the police came I got my laptop back. This year somebody entered my room, opened my locked suitcase and stole my money. The owner of the guesthouse said it was my problem. He didn't want to call the police because if he did he had to pay them....
