I loved this hotel! It's quiet, the staff is extremely helpful and the service was quick. The room was very clean, and there is a nice garden view. Also, when I was there it was really rainy, and they have a huge DVD selection to choose from, which was so nice! It's something I never thought about much, but can...

Stayed a few days in ministry of coffee in the heart of jogya, a nice litte place serving wonderful coffee and cakes, this was the sole reason for my stay. Generally it has a homely feel to it, clean and very friendly staff who find time for their guests. The decor was fit for purpose and there was evidence of...

I stayed for two nights at this hotel. It's really the service that makes this place. The rooms are average, but clean. They could use a refresh, e.g. paint and updated fixtures. The hotel is well located. There are restaurant options within walking distance if you don't want to eat at the hotel. It's also very easy to arrange tours...

A modern building with a cafe & guest library. Stayed here for 2 nights in a standard room for 335,000 Rp per night. It was large & clean with a/c, satellite TV & separate bathroom. Staff all very friendly. Downside is that wifi doesn't work in guest room so you have to go to the cafe, which isn't air-conditioned &...

Spent 4 nights here and would certainly return if I am ever in jogja. Staff were really friendly and so helpful, location is excellent-right in the middle of the touristy area but very quiet (except the mosque but that's pretty unavoidable!) We stayed in a deluxe room which had nice decor, well supplied bathroom with hot powerful shower, great a/c,...

Even though I checked in late with my sister, they were very nice to hold my reservation. The location is great, there are a few late night bars and resto along the street and a massage place a couple of steps away. Coffee is delish, bed is so comfy and huge enough that me and my sister won't disturb each...

I chose Ministry of Coffee based on the name (and good trip advisor reviews) alone, but I'm glad we stayed there! Jl. Prawirotaman is the place to be, apparently--so many great restaurants on that street, including ViaVia (don't miss it!) The staff were all SO incredibly sweet, kind & capable--they get 10 stars all the way! Breakfast was GREAT and...

To start, everyone who works at this hotel/coffee house is incredibly nice. That said, so is everyone in Yogyakarta... The coffee house is big and pleasant. Many options for coffee drinkers. There is no non-smoking section so it was difficult at times to escape the many smokers in the coffee house. HOTEL review: The rooms were fine. The a/c worked...

I stumbled upon the Ministry of Coffee after some frantic searching for accommodation in Yogya (it was over the New Year period, so rooms seemed to be in quite short supply) and couldn't have been any happier. The room was basic but very comfortable and clean and had a great view of the garden (I stayed in a regular room)....

First of all, this name "Ministry of Coffee" is very attractive for all coffee love, isnt it? I just decided to stay here because of this name. Room: Stdanderd room is quite standard actually. I am afraid that this class rooms are little bit small for 2 people. There are shampoo, bathsoap, bottled mineral wate, TV, air-con and hot shower....

“I was recommended by a friend about the place before who mentioned the best rooms are on the ground floor. I stayed on the 2nd floor and there might be rooms up to the 3rd floor though there isn't an elevator to get there. Be prepare to walk your luggage up the stairs even though the hotel people are quiet happy to help you with the luggage.”
