I enjoyed staying at Griya Yunika Homestay. The home stay was clean and had a great location. The breakfast was great - there was a variety of food to select from and good serving sizes. The pool at the home stay was also lovely. The staff were phenomenal. They were so friendly, helpful and always had a smile on their...

A good, clean homestay with very great staff. Always welcoming, friendly and willing to help you. It even has a pool which is a nice feature. Breakfast is big, plenty of options and delicious. Not too far from the main attractions, or a very cheap taxi ride away. The receptionist recommended a nice local restaurant right at the end of...

I honestly don't even know where to begin with how terrible my stay here was but bottom line is this: There were/are *multiple* serious issues here. First and foremost, Griya Yunika's listing claims that they are an ideal, "quiet and peaceful place" from which to explore Yogyakarta which could not be further from the truth. In reality, it is a...

Stayed one night after long trip from Jakarta in night train so arrived early in the morning (7am) but they let us checked in anyway. Nice clean room with air-con, flat tv, very comfy bed and balcony with chairs and table to chill out. Bathroom with shower. They also had small pool that we didn't use. For breakfast you choose...

Very Nice place with friendly staff. Though only one was fluent in english. The breakfast is good, and the pool small But clean. The place is About 2 km from center, which is a bit far But saves you from the hassle of malioboro street. There was construction work going on during our stay, which was a bit annoying.

The receptionist was friendly and spoke english fluently. The room was spacious and the environment was calm, peaceful. Oh and it's only few minutes to the town. The staffs although not all of them are fluent in english, but they would always help you in any other ways.

Only one receptionist spoke good English. Didn't get help with places to eat or where to go. Breakfast was simplistic with a choice of three dishes of unknown meat. Nice pool in small gardens . Room was small and needed a good paint. Quiet and clean. 20 mins walk from town.

Stayed here for three nights before hitting bromo and ijen. Lovely place - very traditional decor and furniture. Pool small but fine we didn't really have time to use it. Staff incredibly helpful. A little out of the way but quiet for this. Would stay here again. Loved the fish pond.

“if possible choose the room upstairs or downstairs at the right side. So when you enter the hotel, should be on the right wing. The room on the left tend to be a bit noisy due to school in the morning that is nearby. If you are a light sleeper then the chance will be that you will either wake up from the morning prayers anyways, or school two hours later. Eitherway, room on the right side are supposed to be quieter.”
