This World Heritage site is definitely the 8th Wonder of the World. Getting to the Rice Terraces can be somewhat daunting...if you are 73 like me. I chose to fly to Cauayan rather than do the 12 hr. overnight bus trip. But, I still had to find a way to Banaue from the airport. Thank goodness, the owner of the...

Very friendly/helpful staff & beautiful view from the balcony. Other than that, it remains very basic but good value for money. We stayed in the private room where you get your own bathroom. (otherwise toilets and showers are shared) Can be a bit noisy if you decide to sleep with the windows opened. (no AC in the room)

Very clean rooms and two shared bathrooms. Walking locations to everything important. The only thing for us was food...very small portions for the money. Short walk down on the left side of the road you have coffee / restaurant place - amazing tasting food and huge portions for the same price. Overall we ware happy with the place and we...

It was our first time to visit banaue to see the amazing rice terraces. Bea, the manager and her staff (Rebecca and James) were really very nice people. Banaue homestay is home away from home. Bea was very accommodating. She really attended to our needs such as arranging for our tour in batad and ensuring that we have a transportation...

We booked our night at banaue homestay beforehand, but we only arrived at 7am due to horrible traffic in the mountain region before the town Santa fe. At 8am, we had to leave for a 2day trek so we didn't actually sleep at the banaue homestay. We only got a bit freshed up and had breakfast. However, we were greeted...

Great hotel and friendly staff. We booked two tours trough the hotel: to batad rice terraces (5-6 hour tour for 2200 peso's per two persons including guide) and to the hot-springs (700 peso's excluding guide). The busride was not for the weak... Due to traffic we had a 10 hour delay (totalling to 22hrs per ride.. Missing our connecting flight....

This is living as the natives do and what a fantastic experience. Amazing people friendly and attentive just one of the best experiences ever. We were entertained with stories and traditional dancing. Ate fresh chickens and the views were spectacular. Our guide was amazing and the whole thing along with sleeping in a traditional Nipa hut was one that I...

Bea is a wonderful, jovial and helpful host. She is very accommodating and helpful. She helped us to organise our trip to Haopao Hot Springs, arranged for our transport to bus station. Bea is a great cook and her food is the best we have eaten during our 11 days trip - home-cooked and delicious. Bea and team kept the...

Banaue Homestay was such a treat! Service was great from the start. They picked us up from the overnight bus station without us even pre-arranging it! Our room was very clean, the showers had hot water and the balcony view is amazing! You basically have an unobstructed view of the rice terraces while you're eating breakfast. They also have their...
