Interesting location with fantastic views from some rooms and certainly from the dining room. Large, clean and airy rooms but (in mine anyway) no A/C BUT this may be because you don't need A/C so high in the mountains? I certainly didn't need it (early December!) There's no hiding the place is in need of a bit of TLC with...

The room we got was quite big and spacious for the three of us. We loved the view from there. However, it got messy when we went down the dining area to order lunch. The waiters don't seem to know how to smile. We tried to be chit-chatty and asked a few questions but we were told in the face...

I have now stayed in this hotel 4 times over the last 8 years. Each time I am blown away by the location, great views from the balconies of the rooms. Although clean and comfortable the hotel is getting a little tired and needs a little renovation. However saying that still a fine place to stay. I also loved the...

Memorable and overall enjoyable stay at this fascinating example of grand dilapidation. For: - Personalised welcome stitched to entrance banner - Friendly and attentive service from front desk and restaurant staff - The wood-panelled walls and decorative wood ornanentation on room doors - Responsive room service (Karaoke volume lowered considerably after late evening request made for sleep!) - The skilful...

For the slightly less experimental traveller, this relic from the Marcos era ( or so it seems) is probably the best choice .the views across the valley are wonderful, though the rooms are very very old,and not more than two star standard .The alternative are guest houses, which defininitely are a hit and miss in this area.

Not an attractive hotel inside or out. Huge lobby area with a fireplace all done in dark wood. It would feel empty even if the hotel was over 50% occupied. The rooms are spacious and beds comfortable. Views from one side are terrific. The best part of the hotel is the lovely staff, very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Special mention...

Western standard hotel. With really comfortable beds. Since o travelled with my parents they wanted to sleep in a nice bed after the night bus. This was the right choice. The hotel staff was very friendly y and they let us use the pool on the second day until we got picked up :)

Nice hotel, no airco but given the height of the place not really a pb. Well located with a nice view of the surroundings. We booked 2 rooms (two adults and 3 kids) and received upon our request communicating rooms. The pool is nice, the 'native village' in the back a bit abandoned.

If you are looking for a hotel don't be put off by the sign which reads "and youth hostel". This is a fine hotel with gracefull spacious wood panneled rooms. It has not been renovated recently, but is clean. Fans not a/c in the standard rooms and no TV. Wifi in the huge lobby area with good food at reasonable...
