Friendly staff and good service~ For food, Can choose between American breakfast or local cuisine ( charged separately). Dinner can order in from the restaurants from town so it's very convenient! The private infinity pool attached to each villa is awesome! Just bear in mind since the villa is so near nature so there will be bugs and geckos.

This place is nothing short of amazing. We stayed in town the first night and then moved to Overlooking. It might not be directly in town, you may have to walk up a steep hill to get to it and there may be a few bugs but it is all so worth it. Each cottage has its own view overlooking... More

The setting is on a hill and from the bedroom you can see the ocean. There are only 5 villas so very private and 3 villas share a swimming pool. They do not have a restaurant but will order food from various restaurants in town.

Absolutely stunning resort. Loved everything about it, great location just a short walk outside the town, the pool was beautiful. We stayed in both the Tree house (highest one) with spectacular views of the bay, and we also stayed in the pool villa. So hard to decide which one we loved more, as they both had their benefits. I think... More

What a gem of a place! It took me soooo long to find the right accommodation in El Nido, they are either super expensive on their own private islands or backpackers. This was one of the few mid ranged places around! We paid 180 AUD a night for the pool villa and it was very good value for money for... More

Just got back from 3 days at Overlooking and 3 days at their sister property Mahogany (just at the bottom of the hill). The Deluxe Villa was only available for 2 of our nights and so we had our first night at The Cottage. As we walked in we were happy with the room but it was just an ordinary... More

Stop reading the reviews and book this place. It sells out extremely quickly, so don't hesitate. Not only is it a beautiful property with breathtaking views, there also isn't much else on offer (by comparison) in El Nido. We stayed here and Cadlao, and I can say this place is not only much better value, but much, much nicer. Just... More

This 4-room hotel is located on a hill so it has pretty views of the islands. The views are what you pay for. The rooms are basic at best (they call them "villa" but "shack" is more appropriate). There are no bathrooms!!! There is a toilet in each room, completely open without any door or curtain, with full view (and... More

I am not sure where to start with this hotel. It was so wonderful, and I really wish I was already back there. We travelled as a group of 8, all pretty much adults; the youngest being 14. Upon arrival from Manila to Puerto Princesa, we were promptly greeted by our driver. The drive to the hotel was about 3... More

This place is best utilized for a staycation. But who would want that in El Nido? The place is on top of a hill (perhaps an 8-storey climb on the stairs from the road) and after a whole day of island hopping, it becomes a challenge going in and out of the resort. This becomes a problem when you want... More
