It's a nice hostel and the communal area/bar is pleasant. The staff are very welcoming and friendly which was a very welcomed change.
The private double room was of a good size, the bathroom was fine, the air con nice, and the bed comfortable.
I came to this hostel with good hopes and was disappointed. The dorms were dirty and smelly (after being cleaned), the toilets were ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. The AC dorm has one tiny, ancient AC in a far corner of the room so the fan dorm was...More
I stayed here with a friend in the private room for two nights. It only costs 100 pesos in a tricycle and takes 5-10 minutes to get to. The location is very easy for local tricycle riders to find.

The average to take a tricycle in the city of Puerto Princesa in Palawan is around 50 pesos (1 euro) but as foreigners you have to be aware of the prices who are often changing. Example : from Robinson mall until Sheebang Hostel & Judy's Resto Bar you should pay between 30 to 50 pesos. At night it more 50 or sometimes plus again. About the taxi for a short distance lets count between 100 till 200 pesos. It's not so easy to find a lot of taxis in the city. I recommend you to call a taxi number to get one: (0998) 999 8294. Did I answered to you? Frederick.
