Had a quick 2 night staycation here at Sofitel Singapore City Centre. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with fantastic staff interaction. Accor membership recognition is excellent as upgrades were accorded and welcome drinks vou8cher given without request. The rooms here are still upkept well and one can expect a luxurious 5 star feel throughout the property. I would like to highlight some staff who were super friendly and helpful. Joselyn and Monica from Front Office, Sokun from Housekeeping, Daniel from Club Millesime and Beverly and Julue 1864. The entire staff in fact are superstars who take care of their guests. My only feedback would be regarding breakfast and the freezing cold pool. With regards to Breakfast, I personally felt it was very restricted compared to the old Racines breakfast. It is still free flow, but the items are quite limited. But other than that, it was a perfect stay. Overall, it was value for money and would definitely be back if travel is still not lifted soon. Did a 3D2N staycay in the Prestige Suite and love the room! We were lucky to get the level 20 suite (highest floor) and enjoyed the nice view of tanjong pagar and chinatown. Try requesting for this view instead of the side facing International Plaza. The room is very comfortable to hang out in and there are many cafes/restaurants around to visit during the stay. We appreciated the efficient concierge and room service. Breakfast at Racine was ok. The December crowd was crazy so the kitchen missed out our orders several times. We noticed other tables had that issue too. We also had dinner at Racines which we were looking forward to but unfortunately the food, service and experience were disappointing. Wouldn't recommend this, it'll be better to head out for meals. Overall a nice place for a staycation!…

Stayed for a night on a weekday - we got a package that came with high tea at 1864 and late check out, which was extremely good value. Service was great throughout - they allowed one of us to check in early at 12pm to decorate the room for a birthday celebration, and brought amenities such as bedroom slippers without delay after we requested for them. The room was also spacious, modern, and clean. Nothing to shout about for breakfast, but there will be more than enough food even though it is no longer a buffet. Sofitel is very accessible by public transport (right at tanjong pagar station), and there are many good eateries and restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. 100am mall is also just around the corner. Overall recommended for tourists and staycations!

I have been to many Sofitels, each would have its unique culture and feature while sharing the same Sofitel blood. This one is not an exception. The Sofitel brand defined the spacious room and the luxury decorations, the cosy lobby lounge and the impressive flowery gigantic paintings, the quality of its Club Millesime and superior Aperio chic session, the great front desk and room service as well as the concierge service. Everything is perfect. I would say we enjoyed better services and convenience in Sofitel Singapore City Centre than the other brands such Fairmont and Swissotel Stamford, despite without of the great Marina Harbour view. If there were things that could be handled even better, I would say the hotel may consider the following: 1. I used to get welcome letter from hotel managers at other Accor hotels and welcome fruits but I did not seem to get one from Sofitel. 2. I understand it is the Covid season but perhaps can still provide some light snacks at Club Millesime during non-Aperio chic hours. 3. Even with a 3 nights stays in the hotel and a Platinum status, I cannot manage to book an afternoon tea session during the check in. A slight disappointment during the fantastic staycation. …
