It is cheap hostel but I had horrible experience there. Luckily I stayed there only 1 night and just because there were no other hostels available that weekend. Bathrooms were so dirty, hair everywhere! I would not recommend this hostel. The only good thing is that it is close to Sultan Mosque and Arab street. I will never go back...

The hostel is actually near to some interesting places such as Bugis or Mustafa. The staff is ok but if he can be more friendly and polite, that would be awesome. The showers need to be improved. Some showers are very small. But if you are on budget, this place can be an option

I choose the mix dorm because it's the cheapest, the bed is not comfy at all, mattress is hard, and I can't sleep because people keep talking and laughing so loud especially boys, bathroom outside the room. Location near Arab street so it's easy to find melayu food that suite my Indonesian taste. You can walk to bugis to go...

There are better hostels around there. This can only be a short transit. No problem for 1 night stay. Nothing more. The good thing is only its location. Near to eateries and Sultan Mosque, a tourist attraction.

I heard a lot about this hostel, and mostly they told me it is a good place to stay and strategic in terms of location. They said it right about the location however I was surprised that with the price I pay (around Sing$50/night) they gave me and my friend an old room, smelly like I don't know how to...

Old furniture and building. The nice thing it's close to MRT and bus stop. Only walk for 5-10 mintutes. It closes to shopping center too. We can get breakfast a toasted bread and cup of cofffe or tea make by yourself. Not allowed to eat inside the room. Wifi is superfast. They also provide computer. The sharing showerrom is nice...

But my stay here was beyond expectation. I sayed in the dormitory room but the bed, bed sheet and pillow are so comfortable. I had a really good...

Kampong Glam
This traditionally Malay enclave of Singapore offers an alluring array of shops, cafes, and bars. A walk down Haji Lane offers quirky shopping, while one block over, Arab Street is a treasure trove of brightly coloured fabrics, clothing, and Turkish rugs. Stop for a leisurely coffee or cocktail and watch local kids play traditional games along the lane. Also home to the Malay Heritage Centre and one of Singapore’s most prominent mosques (Sultan Mosque), Kampong Glam is a must-visit for a tantalizing taste of Malay life in this city.
