Loved the location in a heritage area and close to delicious hawker markets where there was always something new to try. Only problem at the hotel was the air - conditioner which blew cold air on to us as we tried to slept, if you turned it off the room got too hot and stuffy.
The overall stay was good . The staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed and home The room was a little bit small and dark. I would suggest to install some power plugs over the side table at the bed to ease the connection of laptop e.c.t.
I really liked the location. Tiong Bahru is a lovely neighbourhood and the hotel is really close to the food centre which is definite must-visit. The hotel is old but without the old-time charm unfortunately. Don't expect Maison Borella. Rooms are tiny but clean.
