Upon arrival we found ourselves in the most amazing hotel. The room was well appointed, very clean and appealing. The bathroom was also very clean. The staff were brilliant, a big thank you to Joy, Dianna and Sandra. We had a cooked breakfast in the restaurant each morning and couldn't fault the service or food. The rooftop bar is a...

Small, newly renovated Boutique Hotel offering a home far away from home. Big rooms, good breakfast. The Ladies at the Reception desk took great care of us, fullfilling every wish. The Staff at the restaurant was great and professional, remembering our orders and preferences Thanks to all having us offered such a good time in the middle of Chinatown located...

This Hotel was the start to our Holiday, and it was a great start, the room was on the 2nd floor, bright, modern, compact. Bathroom was of good size offered all that you need. Our room faced the street, you could get a lot of street noise, would recommend that you choose other if noise worries you.The bed was good,...

My husband and I stayed here twice - once from Feb 15/16 to 19 and again on Mar 19. I loved everything about it - the staff, the rooms, the on-site bar, the complimentary breakfast, the location. On our first stay, we were in Room 209 which is a good room to have as it is the quietest on site....

Stayed two nights whilst on stopover to Viet Nam. The deluxe room we had was small but comfortable, albiet I found the bed hard, but guess this is typical for Asian countries. The service was very good and everyone was friendly and helpful. The use of the free handy phone was a great touch. The Club is easy walking distance...

Fabulous location as close to Chinatown but far enough away to not be too busy. The hotel has been renovated very well and the atmosphere is wonderful. Very calm and relaxing while still having all the gadgets required. Staff were all very friendly and helpful

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel which far exceeded our expectations. The staff were most helpful and attentive from check-in through to our departure. The room was spacious, clean and very well equipped and importantly well air conditioned. Despite the busy streets outside the room was very quiet. The loan of a mobile smart phone was very appreciated. Breakfast...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
