I stayed at Ibis Budget Bugis for 13 nights this January. It was a work trip and choices within the set budget were limited, so I thought you can't really go wrong with booking an Ibis. So it was - it was a perfectly pleasant stay. I had a standard room with a double bed, and what they don't tell you explicitly on the website is that those rooms don't have a window. I suspected that though, so was not too disappointed, but it takes a while to get used to the conditioned air that seems to permanently be so humid that a pair of socks takes 3 days to dry if you wash them in the sink. That's the only grain of salt, really. That and the fact that either the walls are thin, or the other guests just happened to be sleepless and extremely noisy, so there was some audible talking all night long most nights. Could have not wished for a better location with a shopping mall, restaurants, cafes, hawker center and MRT and bus connections right across the road. There's a 7eleven right next door, too, and an excellent gelato place on the corner. My special thanks goes to the housekeeping team who changed the towels every day and kept the room spotlessly clean. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and even if the room was a bit small for such a long stay, all that I needed was there. Would definitely go back and recommend, too, for travelers on a limited budget.…
Great location, professional yet friendly service. Room was small but functional. Only downside was walls were thin so could hear noise from the corridor. One night someone kept opening and slamming doors. Easy access and walking distance to Bugis Junction, Raffles City and Marina Square. I would be happy to stay here again if I need to be in the area.
ibis budget Singapore Bugis (room 314) +Good location, but Singapore is small so you will have near to everything anyway. +TV. Kettle, Hair dryer. Iron can be borrowed from reception. -Small room, not enough space for 2 big luggage. -Our room had stairs to seperate the beds, see my pictures. -When you shower, it will be wet on the whole bathroom floor, no bathtub, glass wall or any cover. -No refrigerator. +/- 7min walk to the subway station. Takes total 50min from the airport to the hotel.
Hotel is located walking distance to the MRT and in front of the bus stop. It’s so close to many shops, malls and attractions. The room was clean and fine. Windows would’ve made it better, but other than that, the stay was very comfortable. The staff were kind and friendly.
There were chaos during check-in. Many people waiting but no staff at the front desk. Saying 3pm ready to check-in but the staff only said the rooms were still housekeeping while it was already 3:30pm. I got the room fast. Probably due to no one stayed in my room in previous day. The room is super small and even difficult to open a suitcase, though the bed size is fine. When I took shower I realized that there was no shower gel, and no refill even the next day. Besides, it's quite noisy when they walked along aisles for housekeeping. Besides, they suddenly open my door to tidy up my room while I was still sleeping at around 10am. Luckily that I've locked the door so they couldn't get in. The toilet and shower room are in the same small area so if people take shower the toilet will be very wet. The carpet was missing on my first day's stay as well but they put it back to my room on the 2nd day's stay. Location is not bad as it's still in city center. Will not consider again unless no other options nearby. …
We stayed Ibis Bugis for a quick overnighted before flying out. Again could not really be faulted, great central location for for food, sightseeing and access to MRT station. It is a budget hotel with small rooms although we were given the family room ( thank you for the upgrade 😄) and that is larger. The rooms are spotlessly clean, well appointed and have a small fridge and beds and pillows are comfortable. A 7Eleven store is literally next door. Would we stay there again, a most definite YES! Just remember people that the rooms are small but hey you are only sleeping in them and the price is right.
Best for solo travellers looking for safety and a good staff to return to. Also quite good for budget travellers. The best thing was the location, u had two mrt near you- city hall, bugis which connected the whole city mrt lines. Alot of eating joints near you as well in budget.
This budget hotel was exactly what I needed for a quick one night stopover. Reception was available late at night, the room was very basic but clean, and amenities were everything I needed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, they are happy to hold bags, good location: taxis took 30 seconds to call, restaurants and cafes all around, and short distances to Orchard Rd and the Marina.
Ibis Budget so nice! I stayed 4 night here. Everything was good! The location is near from MRT and city centre. AC works fine, shower & water heater really good! We got 2 bottle of drinks everyday. Bed so comfort and room so clean! And the last, staf and receptionist so friendly! Thengkiu for amazing staycation! You made my day!
My best compliments to Diyana who gave great service and always with a bright smile. All was well even if the room was a bit musty after the awesome service from Diyana. The room was average and it was okay as I stayed for only 1 night due to a last minute decision to fly down to SG for a short work trip. The location was great too. Thanks again for the great service!
