For me a small taste of privacy with my own tv, head phones and curtain to have a bit of privacy. In addition the wifi is good. Clean and friendly, I'd happily stay again as its a great location. Plus they offered a free transfer back to the airport which is always helpful.

This place is in the middle of China town, a lot to see and do not far from the hostel. I received an email not long after booking with a map and good directions on how to get the train to the hostel for $2.50 SGD. Upon checking in I received a cold welcome drink and the lady showed me...

Stayed here for 5 nights with my girlfriend, and first of all Singapore is one of the most amazing places we've ever been to. There is so much to do and see... This hostel is in a great location, right next to China town, great cheap food and just a walk away from the tube station. The hostel itself was...

We had a wonderful stay in the Bohemian Chic, the staff couldn't have been more helpful with everything, letting us know where to visit and how to get there. The pod beds were really comfy and had a blind so you could have privacy as well. Would definitely stay here again! :)

I've stayed at 6 different hostels in the past 5 weeks, and the Bohemian Chic in Singapore was hands down the best experience of them all. I do not remember the young man's name who was working there the whole time, but he was extremely generous and his service was great. He showed us all the great spots to hit...

The place is simple, ideal for backpackers/solo traveler. It's situated in downtown Singapore. Accessible for shopping/souvenirs/restaurants and almost to any points in SG via MRT or Bus. + Location + accommodating staff (Desmond) + peaceful Personally, I don't have negative comments but maybe a suggestion. This hostel has to have shampoo or conditioner in their bathrooms. But overall, it was...

We spent two nights at the hostel, and I would have easily extended if possible. To start, we showed up 3 hours early to check-in in hopes of ditching our bags. Not only was that totally fine, but the staff was so friendly and helpful and even took care of payment and everything so that when we got back all...

Friendly staff and guest. They will make sure you have a comfortable and pleasant time. Safe. Everything is literally walking distance, like a block away, as far as shops, bars, Chinatown, plaza and eateries. I came here for 1 night, solo traveler and wished i could stay longer. You will definitely meet other travelers here. No complaints about this place.

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
