Highly recommended. My room was tiny but normal by local standards, although comfortable and clean with a decent-sized shower room. Location is fantastic, just a 2-minute walk from the nearest metro station and another 2-minute walk to central Chinatown. There are many good restaurants nearby, too.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and were perfectly happy with our stay here. Yes, the rooms are VERY small, but the location is fantastic - close to all the action of China Town (which was great, as we visited around Chinese New Year), and a 2 minute walk to the MRT station. Wifi was good, and rooms were very...

Just spent 5 nights at the hotel on a solo holiday. Location in Chinatown is brilliant - plenty of cheap food outlets at the markets/hawker centres just 1 street away. The markets selling a variety of souvenirs, food, clothes, bags and just about anything you can think of are 1 min walk to the next street. Plenty to wander and...

The hotel is perfect to explore chinatown and is perfect walking distance to the MRT. The front desk was helpful and professional, which was great. Was surprised at the small size of the room despite paying for the higher rate. Biggest problem is that you could hear everything: vacuuming in hall, bathroom next door, talking from adjacent room. Very hard...

Stay here on a short trip to Singapore. Very easy to get here. Just 1 minute walk from exit B Chinatown MRT. Little bit hard to find the hotel entrance for the first time. I can not find the door. Fast check in. The room itself is a so so. Small but clean and nice. 2 things that were not...

I like this place and I'd definitely stay again. The rooms are very small and I really mean that. The bed had two sides against the walls and there was nowhere to store my stuff. There's also not much privacy with the bathroom because it's just a glass wall and door so you can hear everything. It was very clean...

I stayed in this hotel for one night with my friend during a stopover in Singapore. Location is INCREDIBLE if you are just there for a short time and want to see a unique part of Singapore! Easy to get to via MRT and Chinatown Markets were open late and were absolutely awesome. The photos of the hotel however are...

After having stayed two days in another hotel and it was awful, we found this hotel, it was situated in Chinatown where we wanted and the rooms are small even though we were upgraded the bed was comfortable the bathroom was a good size with the toilet in there as well. Tea and coffee facilities in the room, but we...

If you can't stand being in a small room, don't book this hotel. Other than that, there are some great things about this hotel, particularly with the proximity to China town and access to MRT. You can find food almost all times round the clock and bars nearby the area. The hotel is also 3 minutes away from the singapore...

The hotel is near the MTR station Chinatown. Rooms are so small even the family rooms that's why we opted to get another room for our kids and nanny. A bit dark because not well ligthed. Small elevator, and lobby. What I like in this hotel is that they have a friendly staffs very accommodating even on the wee hour...

Staying in Chinatown

Neighbourhood Profile
Chinatown is a classic combination of colourful sights, enticing smells, and sometimes startling sounds. The precinct is unique, however, in its blending of religions and cultures. A Hindu temple, an Islamic mosque, and a Chinese Buddhist temple sit almost side by side. This sense of cultural harmony continues as you venture just outside of Chinatown to the nightlife areas of Club Street and Duxton Hill. There you’ll mingle with Singapore’s multicultural residents at the modern bars and restaurants dotting the bustling streets. An afternoon in and around Chinatown will leave you culturally enlightened, well fed, and loaded with souvenirs. In the evening, reward yourself with a well-deserved cocktail as the locals come out to play.
