We stayed here recently for 9 nights and had a great time. The hotel is made up of converted shophouses and the conversion is of good quality. The rooms are compact, so it is best to view them online before booking so that you are not disappointed. Given the quality of the conversion and the location, the hotel is great...

A very lovely heritage atmosphere welcoming us from the lobby, lounge and the room. The hotel is noticeable from the all white appearance, and the vintage flooring in the front arcade. Our room is small but adequate and they have everything we need, a hairdryer, an iron, free minibar, and a free android phone to take for strolling around singapore,...

I really enjoyed the Sultan. The desk staff were all very helpful, and the location was good for all my walkabouts. I wouldn't have as much fun without their directions! The Wi-Fi in my room was high-speed & free, allowing me to keep up with business & friends, and the hotel's free mobile phone with its live mapping & internet...

Beautiful building located in Arab district of Singapore. Really helpful staff, always gave us useful advice and was very friendly, work of housekeeping was perfect - the room was clean every day. I liked a huge bed, but the room was tiny and opening the door sometimes was quite difficult, noisy from outside when it was raining. Not very good...

Staff were very helpful and pleasant and the room comfortable, better than I thought it would be. Only issue is the breakfast, (orange cordial is not a replacement for orange juice and the steamed eggs need to stay in the packet from where they originated from). It should not be that difficult to have a good basic breakfast.

I felt like a sultan when I arrived in the hotel. Everybody (including cleaning people) really knows how to make you feel home. In the welcoming letter they are talking about family and this is the feeling they create, being home. I was two days in the hotel with a flu and fever and the staff was taking care of...

The Sultan hotel is recently renovated and is a quaint boutique hotel in the heart of Singapore. Its about 10min from all major attractions and theres a taxi stand outside the hotel. So very convenient. Rooms are small but some nice touches like the mobile that you can use for local calls in the city. Staff are friendly but not...

The hotel was different, but nice. There were a couple of things that were not good......... the street noise and the wake up every morning at 5 by shouting of prayers. I am a Christian and I don't put down any bodys religion, but I didn't like being woke up so early. All in all, it was good

We got talking to some local people in our large hotel. We said we were looking for a smaller hotel and they suggested The Sultan, in the Malay Precinct. We were able to book for a few days. It turned out to be an excellent choice for us. Very friendly staff, great room etc. so close to so many good...
