We had a staycation here this month. This was once a printing house before being converted into a hotel. The facilities are first class and the room is clean. The staff is friendly and very well trained. Enjoyed our stay.

Without a doubt, the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Problems include: - Prostitutes marching up down and being picked up and dropped off all along the street, including from the hotel itself on occasion. Admittedly not their fault, but not what you expect from a four star hotel. - A nightclub inside the hotel open daily until around...

We stayed here in March 2017 and were very disappointed. We originally booked a Sultan room which was very small and dark. The window looked across to the window of another room! The air conditioning was unbelievably loud. We were so disappointed that we paid to upgrade to a Puteri Room which is much more spacious, and while the air...

It is a boutique hotel.. use to be old shop houses.. so the room is a bit small for a family of four.. our room is two level and the staircase is a bit steep..not advisable for family with small kids. If you drive, parkings will be near the roads.. need to look around for parking.. but location wise is...

The hotel is very nice and the room we had was a good size for a couple. Furniture and room in a modern, clean and nice deco. However, VERY DISAPPOINTED by the cleanness of the sheets and towels. Very old with lots of holes and dirty blood traces... I have never experienced that in a hotel before. What a shame!...

This is an excellent hotel. Be mindful that the rooms are asian in style and are small if you are a westerner. However, this place is filled with character. The mosque is close by, so you can hear morning prayers and prayers throughout the day. It's a great place for locals and tourists alike. Haji lane is a short walk...

The Sultan is a great hotel that has been remodeled to show the elegance of a long past era. The rooms are tad bit small but they are quiet and are elegant. We loved the showers with the trough where the water goes into. The location was good - near the subway and just a block from Kampong Glam. The...

We stayed here recently for 9 nights and had a great time. The hotel is made up of converted shophouses and the conversion is of good quality. The rooms are compact, so it is best to view them online before booking so that you are not disappointed. Given the quality of the conversion and the location, the hotel is great...

A very lovely heritage atmosphere welcoming us from the lobby, lounge and the room. The hotel is noticeable from the all white appearance, and the vintage flooring in the front arcade. Our room is small but adequate and they have everything we need, a hairdryer, an iron, free minibar, and a free android phone to take for strolling around singapore,...

I really enjoyed the Sultan. The desk staff were all very helpful, and the location was good for all my walkabouts. I wouldn't have as much fun without their directions! The Wi-Fi in my room was high-speed & free, allowing me to keep up with business & friends, and the hotel's free mobile phone with its live mapping & internet...
