We enjoyed our Staycation and were delighted to catch a glimpse of the Pre-National Day Rehearsal in across the skyline.
The room was spacious and clean; with balcony to catch some fresh air. The coffee machine was a darling for each perk-me-up moments. The only shortcoming, personally, was the pillows a bit too hard to my liking (Papa Bear's hard pillow hence he would appreciate it :)
The breakfast buffet at Peppermint was sumptuous and we were spolit for choice; we were glad to be able to dine in the gigantic bird-nest cove and marvelled at the real life birds singing... amazing.
The only shame is not having to swim in the pool which was crowded most of the time (even at night!). Overall, it was a gorgeous staycation and we would be back soon :)

We stayed only three nights 28th-31st Dec 2019 in what was the Marina Mandarin name changed on 1st Jan 2020, wish it was longer.
The reception area amazing.. huge, checkin quick and easy most of all a friendly helpful staff .
The hotel dressed for Christmas and what looked like a fabulous New Year Eve party with hundreds and hundreds of balloons ready to fall on the party people.
Our room was upgrade to tuhe 13th floor, ok no bay view but wasn't staying in it for long and the balcony looked out onto the Suntec shopping area,but hotel also adjoined to the Marina Square shopping Mall very handy.
The bed very comfy and the pillows chunky soft really nice. Bathroom big with his and her basins and seperate shower and bath, and good size soft towels.
The room also had a hairdryer, iron/board, fridge and complementy tea & coffee with kettle.
The room was cleaned very well.
The location great to even walk to the bay area, also the hopper bus stops not to far across the road, we didn't use public transport but would have done if staying longer, as loads of buses nearby.
Top of my list is the staff could not fault any one of them, and the best one of all Suresh Singh Chief Concierge he calmly sorted out the problem with the case I had taken in error for mine from the cruise port, found its owner and helped me get mine back. Suresh is calm, helpful, polite, the perfect gentleman and the one to find when you are in a bit of a panic...lucky for us the Mandarin had him.
If we ever get back to Singapore this is where we will stay.

On Lunar New Year 2020 we were Park Royal Collection Marina Bay (renamed ex. Marina Mandarin) guests in Singapore. Generally, hotel is good: daily cleaning, daily towel change, nice view from «Premier Marina Bay view room» with narrow balcony is located on 18th floor, free reliable Wi-Fi, majestic atrium, rising to the top of the hotel. Great location near shopping, restaurants, marina and bus routes, metro. In the stylish room we have bathrobes, many towels, toothbrushes and paste and other toiletries, tea, cream and coffee machine also we have in the room, similarly extra bed for the third person of our family. Little time we spend at outdoor pool. Breakfast not included in the rates it was for extra charge 36 Singapore dollars per person. I would also like to mention as minus: unfortunately, there is a little choice for buffet continental breakfast, but it is many tasty mandarins, watermelon and pineapple. The staff is attentive and helpful, thank you.

The exterior of the Parkroyal is nothing exceptional, but the interior takes your breath way. The entry to each room looks out over a vast space with lovely artworks and a great atmosphere from the resident piano player. Our room with balcony looked out over the Singapore skyline - we could see Raffles, the Singapore Flyer, the river, fellow hotels all lit up by night and buzzing as only a city can. The staff were always helpful, from the check-in staff, to the chap who bought a third bed to our room, to the excellent and efficient guys in the lobby. We aren’t the type of folk who stay in luxury hotels but we weren’t looked down upon, but made to feel very comfortable and accepted. The location is good too - with Raffles, Gardens by the Bay, Fort Canning Park, Merlion, all within easy walking distance. Lastly, the breakfasts may be a bit pricey but the hotel is surrounded by shopping malls which provide coffee shops and food halls galore. Would highly recommend.

This is our second stay this year, this time we opted for the Signature Marina Bay room. We got a room on the 18th floor with a view of the Marina Bay area to the left and Singapore Flyer to the right.

Back in March, there was still some renovations going on but that’s all done now. The hotel entrance and lobby is just such a sight, with the calming earthy tones, lush green foliage and vertical space. The live birds twittering can be heard all the way up to the 18th floor even.

As this was for my birthday, there was a cake waiting in the room. IMO, the room itself is just adequate, and made for a comfortable 2 night stay. We could have done with one more chair, really. Basic amenities, water pressure and temperature is always good. Toilets come with a simple toilet seat style bidet #gotbidetcanstay

The hotel does not provide bottled water but a dedicated filtered water tap in room, which helps to reduce waste. This is a big plus for me.

The hotel pool is great, and lights up prettily at night. Plenty of pool side seating. Did not try the gym this time round, but I spotted a barbell this time (no rack, however).

Breakfast was served at Peppermint, there was a decent spread of Asian and Western options. The staff would help to plate the food for you. There are some items you can order through the QR code, it was omelettes on Friday and a very tasty wanton noodle soup on Saturday. Take note that there are 3 seatings, come early if you don’t want to wait long.

Staff were all very friendly and attentive. Check in, check out and any requests were all followed up promptly, including IT support when we could not login to the wifi.

In terms of location, this is a great one because it is connected to some big malls and also within walking distance to Gardens By The Bay, the Singapore River, the civic district and Fort Canning.

Enjoyed our stay, it was nice and relaxing, just my kind of staycation.

I booked an urban King room with club privileges for 3d2n stay

locations is centralized and is beside major shopping malls like Suntec City and Marina Square.

Room is big but toilet is small. Toilet is dirty. Im not sure if they really clean it to be honest. Hair bundles are found on the floor and under the bathroom floor towel. White powders are found on the floor of the bathroom shower. Bath tub is yellowish. Room is spacious and hotel provides care packs which is very warming. Care packs includes 2x masks, hand sanitizer and wet wipes. Room is clean. Tea, sugar and creamer is provided but quite surprising that fridge has nothing and no choice of snacks for a hotel like this. Maybe it is due to Covid, im not sure.

I kept having issues with room keys. 1. i cant access the club lounge, 2 i cant even access my own room on all 3 days.

Hotel is unable to handle the crowd thus causing long queues during breakfast even thought breakfast timing was supposed to be pre booked. Staffs brought those people waiting in queue to club lounge for breakfast, however the 2 poor staffs serving at the club lounge was unable to handle the sudden surge of crowd. This could be handled in a better way. I left even before i finished eating before it was getting way to long to get my food.

But regardless, i have to compliment the staffs. Generally all staffs are very friendly and put customer's need as the top priority. despite having so much issue with the key card, staffs are very patient and keep apologising when its not their fault. Always a smile on their face even if they met with super unreasonable people. I, especially wanna compliment Raj who was working in the club lounge. not only did he did all those that i mentioned, he even went on to remember what drinks i had the previous night and ask if i would like to have the same one or something different. he went all out to check on how we are feeling and constantly asking if i needed anything. He is also very attentive.

All in all, the only reason why i would go back again is because of the staffs, nothing to do with the hotel.

Had a stay with the hotel over the weekends on 12-13 December 2020. Staffs were polite and helpful and the newly renovated rooms looks way more awesome for the price paid as compared to other similar ranged hotels.

Wrote in to hotel during booking at the additional request section, and got a surprise cake treat from the hotel.

The hotel is also full of insta-worthy spots be it at the lobby or inside the room itself. Will definitely book a staycation with the hotel again

Location is great with lots of retail around. Swimming pool is not crowded and the depth is good especially for those with young kids. Room in dining food was sent in very on time. Portions of room in breakfast was huge, making sure we have enough variety too.
The day bed in the Lifestyle room is a fantastic area to relax and very instagramable.

However there are many areas to improve on.
First, the check-in Q was long and after that, the waiting time for the room to be cleaned was long…..1-2hrs of waiting on top of the 30min queueing.
Secondly, the twin bed we got were too small to fit family of 2 adults and 2 kids. On top of that, the beds were on rollers, it moved very easily. In the end, the housekeeping crew told us this hotel used to be fully carpeted before refurbishment, so no issues of beds rolling away. As the flooring is no longer carpeted now, the beds moved easily. They mentioned they realised they have such issues now and thus have ordered stoppers to secure the rollers.
I asked for 5-6 floor mats and the housekeeping crew gladly gave us and helped to place under the beds to prevent the beds from rolling away.
Thirdly, the room service food is not tasty at all. Not worth the money, was very disappointed.
Fourthly, the toilet tiles at the corner of the sink are cracked.
Next, the LG TV constantly lagged, the toiletries series (shampoo, shower gel etc etc) don’t smell good.
The view we got wasn’t fantastic as there’s a ledge on the outside of the room blocking the view. I don’t know what is the purpose of the small balcony which we could walk out to from our room.
For the price paid, totally not worth.

Cannot deny that hotels around the marina area are convenient. They are close to everything. This hotel was previously under Marina Mandarin which I have stayed in before.

For the same room, they’ve renovated the whole room other than the bathroom (still looks amazing) and also added a filtered drinking water tap to the bathroom. The room now looks bright and spacious and is much bigger than typical hotel rooms on singapore of the same range. The TV is also big and new, with 1 hdmi slot as well as inbuilt chromecast. Do let the staff at check-in know that you will like a room with bathtub. Ventilation in the room is also very good, we bought food back and there’s no after-smell.

One thing that could have been done better is to leave the shower glass door open else the water/mould smell can be quite strong. (No change from Marina Mandarin days) I also leave my bathroom door open so that the heat from the shower will not fog up the mirror. Also, facing the same issue as my stay at Parkroyal Beach Road, TV channels can be more interesting by adding in music channels and more movie channels.

The whole hotel has been renovated to the same theme as Parkroyal on Pickering where they brought in the nature aspect. The bird chipping sound in the lobby is very relaxing, especially when having breakfast sitting outside of the restaurant but still within the lobby area. The corridor outside the rooms are also nicely lit up and doesn’t feel as eerie as Pan Pacific’s corridor.

I really wish such old architectural design of hotel can be used for future hotels, the tall and high ceiling of the lobby made it felt luxurious and bright. Really a very good rate for staycation in such a place in Marina.

Had a 3D2N stay and overall the stay was fine. First staycation of 2022. This is my second stay here in this property and I must say there are both good and bad experiences that I have had.

First off, my check-in was very smooth. No queue at all as it was a weekday. Everything was seamless, getting a high floor room as per my request. Booking of the hotel facilities such as the pool, gym and breakfast was also easy to book via the QR code in the room. I have the commend the gym equipment, they were of good quality and were complete.

Aside to all the good experiences, these are the few comments I have to make on some things.

1. Frequency of the housekeeping needs to be increased. We requested for our room to be made up since morning while we were out the whole day but to only come back disappointed. Our room was still the way we left it, toilet and bed not made up. Trash not thrown. We left a plate of fruits, leftovers from the night before but that was not cleared up as well. When we called the operator to inquire about the housekeeping hours, they mentioned that housekeeping is on a 24/7 service. This was unacceptable. We did not have fresh clean towels and bath robes.

2. The toiletries in the shower did not smell good at all. They were of good sizes but the shampoo, conditioner and body wash did not smell good. Maybe it was just our preferences but a fresher and clean scent would have been better.

3. It was my husband's birthday and they have noted that by preparing a small dessert platter with a birthday card in the room. But I noticed that it was the same Ondeh Ondeh roll cake from 6 months ago when I was staying here for the first time. Maybe it's time for a change in menu?

4. Noticed that there was not any laundry bags supplied in the room for our dirty clothes as part of our room amenities.

5. I am a Discovery member and was notified that I will be given a care pack upon check in but it was not there upon entry into the room.

6. Breakfast selection at the Peppermint could be better. Bakery section could have included waffles/croffles, to include Indian selections and more kinds of juices. I though like the idea of guests being able to roam around the buffet counters.

7. Some food items during breakfast at Peppermint that needs to be looked into: Chicken Sausages (tasteless), Coffee & Tea (super bitter), Serving of Sugar (please serve to guests in the sugar bowls not just 1 sachets), Pancakes (tasteless)

8. Please make in room dining service 24 hours and to add more selections to the menu.

9. In the room that I stayed (19th floor), the level of the TV in the room is too low. Considering the high bed, the TV was lower than our eye view when we are lying on the bed at night to watch the TV. Not too sure if it's only for higher floor rooms as this was not the case when we stayed first 7 months ago at a room lower (10th floor)

Hopefully these feedbacks of ours are of value to you for further improvement. Overall it was still a good stay :)

Check in desk is staffed 24 hours but I’d suggest dropping the hotel an email to alert them to late arrival.

You can walk to Raffles and at a stretch Marina Bay, but remember it is very hot and humid, so you might prefer a taxi
