Our group of 12 stayed at the Marina Mandarin for 8 nights. What an interesting hotel. Its almost like a giant beehive with the rooms being the walls of the hive, with an incredible atrium from floor 4 to 20 odd, with the walkways looking down onto the bars and restaurants below. Each morning caged song birds were brought in...

This is a big hotel in a good location. It is just across the Suntec convention centre which can be easily accessed via the bridge connecting the 2 building and the mall in between. The mall is complete in itself with the MRT at the basement. SO accessibility is easy. The rooms are big and bright though a bit old....

Very close to Marina Bay, in 10 min walk you reach the main city attraction. Service is amazing, trying to anticipate your wishes. Huge but very well organized. Good both for business and for tourism.

Stayed here in January 2008.. Long overdue review.. We have great memories of this place.. From its spectacular atrium to the delicious food at the restaurants, to the room itself.. Everything was top class. One snag though was the long check in.. Our flight arrived early so we got to the hotel at around 8am.. They only gave us our...

Was attending a function at the hotel so decided to book a little staycation for my wife and I. Whilst the service from the hotel was good, ultimately it's let down by the room that was basic and needed a refurb to say the least. Definitely not a 5 star in my opinion.

Loved this hotel. From the pictures it looks OK. But when you get there it looks so grand great reception and really friendly staff. The rooms where great with a beautiful view of buildings which you can see from balcony, great skyline. At breakfast there was so much choice and menu changes everyday, and it was halal. Great stay and...

Stayed 2 nights in the Marina Mandarin and the staff are a credit to the organisation. You must stay for the happy hour 5-8 each night, well worth it as alcohol very expensive in Singapore! Pool excellent. Hotel in the heart of Singapore, many shopping malls round the hotel and hop on tourist bus across the road. We could walk...

For the bay area this is a great location. Inside the hotel is stunning and the rooms are very spacious. Has one of the largest pool areas in any of the hotels in Singapore. Easy walk to either Raffles or the Marina Bay Sands resort.

For a large, busy city hotel, my husband and I were very impressed with how friendly staff were. Check in was so smooth - we arrived in the early hours of the morning following a 13 hour flight and expected to wait a while for our room. We were so pleased and grateful that we were allocated a room and...

Staying in Marina Bay

Neighbourhood Profile
Marina Bay
More of a mini city than a neighbourhood in the traditional sense, the iconic Marina Bay aims to dazzle and entertain visitors of all kinds. This is the Singapore found in glossy brochures, featuring a world-class hotel, casino, shops, restaurants, bars, and other attractions all geared towards pure entertainment. The SkyPark at Marina Bay Sands provides a stunning view of the city, a must-see photo opportunity for visitors and locals alike. The ArtScience Museum always has a top-quality exhibition, and Gardens by the Bay is a fascinating manifestation of the government’s vision of Singapore as a “city in a garden”. Enticing Marina Bay is well worth a visit.
