The room is slightly old fashioned but overall very clean and comfortable. The shuttle bus is just okay but not the fastest way to get to the shopping area as the frequency is very low and the shuttle need to go to several different hotel to pick up other guests as well. The breakfast is really good for its price...

Stayed at Miramar Hotel for 7 nights during Formula 1 Grand Prix - deliberately booked this hotel to be away from the noise & disruption to traffic downtown and it didn't disappoint. Staff very courteous and extremely helpful, especially Roger, the Bell Captain. Booked room only and had breakfast 3 times in the Ferntree Cafe - excellent quality of food...

Can't be critical of this hotel. Yes it's not the smartest, but it did everything we wanted it to do for our first time to Singapore, especially because we didn't know anywhere really. It was on a main citysiteseeing bus route, bus stop is at the hotel, a 10 minute walk to the famous Clarke quay area along the canal....

In hindsight we would have booked a hotel on the river but this was fine for a couple of nights and close to the marina for the Eye and the Dukc. Handy for Orchard Road (the wife found three Marks & Spencers to her delight)

Miramar is getting old, would recommend the management to renovate Rooms! Otherwise nice hotel, good breakfast and next to Bus Stop! Hotel Staff is nice, but we were allotted City Room but we booked for River View. That annoyed us a little.

I have been several times to Singapore and had the good fortune to stay at the upper end of town ( Mandarin Oriental, Stamford etc).. but this trip I was meeting up with a friend on a less top-draw budget. Having researched mid price properties we settled on the Miramar. And all I can say is for the price I...

Five minute walk to the riverside & Robinson Quay. Many restaurants along the river and further 10 - 15 minutes walk to Clarke Quay and Boat Quay. Chinatown also within walking distance and MRT station to get anywhere on the train. Marina Bay area and Santosa are $15.00 cab ride away. There is a bus stop at the front door...

Good 4 star Hotel and ideal for stopovers. Hop on Hop off Bus stops right outside. Good service for the Happy Hour in the bar and nice snacks. Restaurant had 2 choices of how you might want to eat e.g. buffet or a la Carte. Walking distance to Clarke Quay and restaurants and Chinatown. Just did not like ashtrays being...
