The hostel has a positive vibe and caters well for the typical backpacker who wants to take in Singapore sights. A late arrival system is available, upon request, for those checking in late whilst the staff are attentive when working reception. Rooms are basic but have decent sized lockers and lights near beds. Two wet rooms (including showers, sinks and...

It's a cozy place. I'm not going to say it was my favorite hostel ever, because it certainly wasn't, but it was good nevertheless. The location isn't necessarily to die for but that might just be because Singapore isn't really a walkable city as is most of the other major cities in SE Asia. It does have a gigantic food...

To start off with the positive, the free bread, jam, peanut butter, Nutella, tea, and coffee was great. The place was clean and and provided free wifi. However the negative relates to the service and atmosphere in the hostel. The hostel is ran by volunteers who work for free housing. There is no actually paid employees. On the day of...

I love everything about this place. In fact, I am lost of words describing how wonderful the place is. I booked for a "two night stay" but I wanted to stay longer so I extended my stay to another two nights. This is where I'll stay the next time I visit Singapore. See you there! -Krizia

We spent a week at Happy Snail, a great place to stay in Singapore. The price was right, the place well located, very clean and the free all day breakfast a sure winner. The wifi was excellent, the walls are covered with useful information and there is a fridge that guests can use that also has sodas and water for...

The only issue we had with this hostel was the fact that nobody was here when we arrived. This was because the absolute gent of an owner was out buying the complimentary peanut butter and jam for us as he knew 5 young travelers were about to arrive for a few days and he wanted us to be happy. To...

This is a great place to stay with friends and alone too. Its all day - free flow of bread, fruit jams, peanut butter & even butter are the source of energy for me and my friends during our stay! We practically are free to do almost anything we do in our own house independently (of course within the terms...

My wife and I stayed here for seven nights in total and had a fantastic experience. The hostel is a refitted apartment and they have three rooms with 12 beds in total (an 8-bed mixed dorm, a 4-bed mixed dorm and a 4-bed ladies dorm). We loved the place so much that we rebooked for a few extra nights when...
