The train station (Farrer Park) has 8 different ways to exit (exits A - H) and 4 of those exit out to Racecourse Rd where the hotel is located. Racecoure Rd splits into different sections so unless one exits at the right exit it is very hard to find the hotel. I walked up and down Racecourse Rd and in... More

At 9pm I decided I did not like the accommodation I was in and went for a walk around the area. Found the Asphodel Inn and was greeted by the loveliest receptionist (older gentleman with glasses). He was extremely helpful and let me see the room before I chose whether I was moving there or not. I did and I... More

For me, as a student traveler coming from a third world country, it's quite expensive traveler's lounge. However, I felt comfortable and feel at home because of very housy house of the hotel, it was like a home away from home to me. Very accessible to MRT-Farrer Park, walking distance from Mustafa Centre where you can but stuff. To tap... More

25 minutes from airport, better use taxi from airport, near to Mustafa Center and City Square mall, near to Farrer Park MRT Station.. Fit with the cost.. the room is small and u can buy many ticket (ex : Universal Studio, Singapore flyer, etc) here with a cheaper cost.

Stayed here 2 nights. It's just a place to stay for a short time and if you're not comfortable staying in Backpackers Inn.It has elevator (unlike some inn doesn't have) wifi. It is near Farrer MRT about 10-15 minutes walk and near the Mustafa Mall. Landmarks like Hindu temple and Chinese Temple nearby. It's a quiet area. Only problem is... More

We had been to singapore on a short vacation for 4 days. The city is really mesmerising. This hotel not that easy to find in 1st place through it is at a walkable distance from MRT. The rooms are neat, clean and well maintained only disappointment was the rooms were really small. The staff was courteous and even did allow... More

There are probably 100's of small boutique hotels around the Little India area, some of them are great value, but this one is not amongst them. A very tired and poorly kept property that charges beyond its range. Disappointed. Bed uncomfortable and short. Felt like sheets not clean. Not again.

I guess this place is OK if you just accept it is a budget hotel. The room is tiny, everything is run down, and cleanliness wasn't great. There were cigarette burns all over the comforter, etc. The closet/wardrobe space wasn't very clean and there was even an old juice bottle in there left by another guest. There was a roach... More

We went here for our SE Asia trip. It was one of the cheaper hotels. The other hotels we considered staying in were in the 'Red Light" district, so figured this would be okay. I wouldn't say it's ghetto, but it's like going to stay at someplace that is REALLY budget. Bathrooms were clean. But you can smell cigarette smoke.... More
