The rooms are small, good for overnight stay (sleep only). Located at Geylang which is notorious for seedy nightlife and immigrant workers. Foodstall selling Indian, Chinese foods are easily available and stay open until late at night.

We had a screw up in our flights, sp having been in this area exactly one year ago, we booked from the airport at 2 am to have a place to sleep. Funny, how I was actually next door the year before. Somebody else wrote that this is far from the MTR, give me a break, its a 5 minute... More

We already knew before we went to this hotel that it was not going to be a place of luxury and lavishness (Thanks to Tripadvisor reviews!), especially since most of the reviewers said that the pictures of the hotel rooms online aren't the actual rooms. True enough, when we got there, the room resembled that of local motels here in... More

Very unpleasant experience. The staff was so very rude and arrogant. Wi fi disappeared all the time. Doggy area. Unpleasant smell inside the hotel. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any one. The hotel next door is cheaper and looks cleaner and modern.

This hotel isn't bad if you travel on a budget, but sadly this hotel is quite far from MRT station. The nearest station is Aljunied but quite a distance to get there from the hotel. There're some food stalls near the hotel and 7-11 but I didn't see some shopping places nearby there. Hotel is clean but not suitable for... More

It is a budget hotel with clean sheets and bathroom. Hot shower available. I did not expect that it would be that clean and comfortable since I paid only 157 dollars for my 4 day stay. Relatively cheaper than any other hotels in Singapore. The 2nd day of my stay, they call if I needed my room to be cleaned.... More

The rooms are small but just about enough when travelling alone. It's good to just dump your luggage and then explore town. Location wise...a 5 min walk from AlJunied MRT station, so has easy accessibility. Cleanliness of the room is also good enough. They also provide you basic toiletries with towels.

We used this hotel as a stopover for a day and arrived at 3am in the morning from our flight and was flying at the next morning at 5am. When we arrived we were met by some of the rudest people let alone staff I've ever come across. One guy in particular told us we could not check in till... More

Location is good and easy access. Food and Night Life entertainment in surround area. Not suitable for family stay as it is very close to red light district. Given the rooms rates, I would say is worth every single cents.

Staying in Geylang

Neighbourhood Profile
Geylang
Only a short journey from Singapore’s sparkling and polished city centre, Geylang is a world away. Here in one of the least touristy areas of Singapore, visitors are privy to an unfiltered glimpse of Singapore life. On Sunday afternoons, migrant workers gather in Geylang to let off steam after a tough week. At the eastern end of Geylang Road, families and friends happily enjoy picnics. By contrast, at the western end, a more colourful side of Singapore can be seen, as street workers mingle with Sunday revelers in outdoor coffee shops. Take a friend, grab a beer and a local meal (frog porridge, perhaps?), and settle in to enjoy the show.
