I stayed Mayo Inn in 2011 and returned in December 2016. I was surprised at the improvements they have made in this small hotel. The bathroom in the family room is a lot better now. The small elevator now has its own door. Although the breakfast was very basic, it did save us a bit, plus the food server was...

Based on the reviews here, we asked the hotel to allocate rooms away from the main road. We were given rm 208. It was quiet the first night but since we stayed on a weekend and new year holiday it was difficult to sleep on few nights bec of the noise outside mostly from cars and people chatting outside. Breakfast...

Love the mayo inn concept. Location are good and convenient to access. Staff are friendly. Room are clean. The only part is middle of night can be very noisy due to the building is next to the main road. Overall still acceptable, you get what you paid for.

I stayed here a number of years back and it was very good so it wasn't a difficult decision where to stay on my last trip to Singapore. Great location close to the MRT and a short walk to Little India or Bencoolen Street. The staff were very nice and everything went smoothly, would return again without a doubt.

Mayo Inn is a very nice hotel with wonderful staff. The location is very convenient as Rocher MRT is close by. There are a lot of eateries around the hotel. Little India is at a walking distance from the hotel. We had taken a family plus room, as we are a family of four. The room had a double bed...

I visited this hotel for the first time on a business trip with some of my colleagues. It was a nice hotel with lovely staff. They were rally helpful and gave me plenty of information regarding the local area. The hotel would be even better with an added breakfast but they don't cook food. In a very convenient location. I...

I think it's nice, clean, although my reservation was the family plus room but when we check in, it was not available so they gave us 2 room with double bed. So It's fine for me. The location is quite convenient as well. Thumbs up

A decent place to stay in a very good location, Value for Money, But they are very strict with the check in and check out timings. No early check in or late checkout unless you are willing to pay extra $$$. If not you will be told that rooms are fully booked. Rooms are clean and well kept. Surprised that...

Dear Samuel9358, Thank you for your review. I must admit that we are strict with the checkout time but we do allow guests to leave their luggage with us till their departure for the airport. Nevertheless, we will see if it is possible to extend the checkout by at least an hour or two. As for the women hanging around...

I had tried several budget accommodation at SG however none could beat this. It was clean and tidy and importantly beside seven eleven. I took a Japanese style room and my little one loved it. The location wasn't bad and everything was in walking distance. The lady downstairs was helpful

The inn doesnt serve free breakfast but its not a problem coz lots of food stall and resto is near. They goy good wifi signal. I just want to comment about...

Staying in Little India

Neighbourhood Profile
Little India
With a strong local Indian community, this pocket of Singapore can feel like another place and time. Wander past traditional barbershops while local residents in brightly coloured saris patronize retailers from decades past. Peruse streets lined with colourful shops as the aroma of curry tempts you to indulge. Listen to the Bollywood music echoing from storefronts and take in the stalls selling bright flowers, fabrics, and spices. At the 24-hour, four-level Mustafa Shopping Centre, you can shop through the night and find everything from pharmacy and grocery items to Bollywood DVDs and diamond necklaces. Singapore’s Little India offers a colourful, lively taste of the subcontinent and is well worth the visit.
