we had lovely rooms and excellent food. Service a bit odd and they ran out of some drinks. Best pisco sour on trip. Garden is amazing and you can wander on the beach. You need a car to get into Puerto Varas which is very pretty and some good shops

Casa Molino is one of the most charming places my husband and I have ever stayed. We felt welcomed as soon as we walked through the front door. The property is spectacular, with full views of Lake Llanquihue and the volcanoes. The staff is outstanding. Jacqui, Rodrigo, and Diego were all friendly and helpful, and their service helped make our...

Beautiful guest house in a stunning situation. We had a lovely room on the ground floor with breathtaking views across the lake to the volcanoe. Diego was very welcoming and very interesting and knowledgeable to talk to about Chile. Breakfast provided a good choice and the dining had beautiful views across the lake. It was a little pricey in terms...

More about service in a minute. This house is in a secluded area on the lake in large beautifully manicured grounds. It could be an old English/ New England house on the lake. Everywhere you look , artefacts and tasteful decor. Our bedroom on the ground floor was large with a fabulous bathroom and a stunning view across the lake...

We loved our three-night stay here. It is a beautiful property right on the second largest lake in Chile. Gorgeous views! And a relaxing spot. Dinners were terrific--simple but elegant and well prepared. The hotel staff was great, too--very sweet and helpful. This is a great place to use as a base for the region. Lots of hiking and touring...

This is a place very comfortable and all rooms with a beautiful view, discrete gastronomy (nreds more variety) and good service , the cozy and pleasant ambience make it ideal for a romantic honeymoon, loved the second floor room with the giant panoramic window

The view from the quaint beautiful place is amazing! However, the service was rather unprofessional and the food was edible to say the best. On the first day we were relegated to a side room despite having paid for a suite. The bathroom was up a stair and though the view from the bath was great, it lacked curtains and...

Dear Guest: Thank you for your comments. I would like to clarify some things for you and the readers about the negative points of your stay according to your version. All our rooms are different and the one assigned to you the first night was also a Suite with lake view. We do not “relegate” anybody anywhere here, it is...

We recently spent a long weekend in Puerto Varas and stayed at Casa Molino based on recommendations from friends. We arrived quite late on a Thursday night and were welcomed and offered something to eat even though the restaurant was closed. It was a lovely welcome and set the tone for great service throughout the weekend. The rooms are a...

This is a lovely boutique hotel with large rooms and stunning views. Diego and the rest of the staff gave excellent service. The main problem is that it is 3-4 miles from Puerto Varas so a car is essential. As they have so few guests a free taxi service into Puerto Varas would improve this hotel enormously.

We were very impressed with this almost family hotel in a perfect spot on the Llanquihue lake. The view of the volcano was incredible, the garden beautifully laid out. The food, we ate there both nights was excellent, if too much! The staff were very helpful. It is however more than the 600m outside Puerto Varas than we were promised...
