Upon booking online, I requested for a room in the upper floor but I didn't get reply until the next day, when I was half way flying from Antofagasta. I was told the only room available was on the 1st floor (ground floor for British), next to the kitchen. The room was charming but it was noisy when people on...

We received a wonderfully warm welcome from the owners, who are multi lingual. This large property is a bit quirky, which adds to its charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable and our stay was very relaxing. Breakfasts were good and all the staff were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at the Guest House with my family, including my two-month old baby. The owner went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. The attention is personalized and kind by all staff. Breakfast is delicious and the house is beautiful. The location is very convenient and the house has inside parking. When we left,...

This is a fantastic place to stay and just what we needed as two cyclists heading north through Chile. The building is full of charm and has a relaxing atmosphere. There is a large comfortable wood panelled living/ dining room with rooms off it. The bedrooms are tastefully decorated with wonderful crisp sheets and showers that worked. The breakfast was...

Stayed in a family room just off the main common and breakfast room. Bedroom was great with 4 comfortable beds, clean and convenient bathroom and space for luggage. Wifi works well and breakfast is good. Staff are really nice and the common area is great with a roaring fire. Only complaint is that the rooms adjoining the common area can...

Wow! Our stay here was amazing! Josephina was a lovely host and spoke perfect english. I had spent the last 4 weeks in south america unable to eat breakfast as I am gluten intolerant. But here there was no issue, it was the best breakfast I had! Gluten-free bread and cake were provided and I got extra fruit! The room...

We used this hotel as a base for the 2 weeks we stayed in Central Chile and found it ideal and we loved knowing where we were going back to. The building is a beautiful old wooden house with large, airy rooms and great open spaces, heated with wood burning stoves. The breakfast was very good and the staff and...

I stayed here in August 2015 for three nights (winter/low season for Josefina and Guillermo). Very welcoming hosts and so helpful. Despite being the only tourist they were very accommodating and it didn't feel like things were scaled back or down. Lots of recommendations for future visits and even help for a ski trip (day long). They are very knowledgeable....

The Guest House was my first stop in Chile and it was much appreciated. Josefina and Guillermo welcome guests into a 1920s German built house which offers a delicious breakfast (incl.), a cozy wood stove in the main parlour room, and beautiful high ceilings in every guest's room. The rooms themselves are spacious, impeccably clean, and very tastefully decorated. The...
