Great location on the riverside. Smooth check in with secure parking and also free wifi. There is a restaurant on site. All I ate were delicious. The Meluza fish with gnocchi in creamy sauce, camarones with fried rice, seafood soup or even the simple smoked salmon salad starter. Good restaurant but underrated. Meals are decently priced. Did I mention the...

here are my thoughts on my stay at this hotel: Tiny, tiny bed... small room old carpet bait and switch price ( we did use booking dot com, so perhaps some shared blame) nice service in the restaurant no heating on a cool night old worn bathroom fittings good shower pressure stale bread at breakfast cracked sink in the bathroom...

We didn't know what to expect from this hotel but we were not disappointed. Lovely front desk staff. Helped us to change from a kingsize to twin bedded room with no bother. The riverside deck is an absolute joy to sit and relax, watching the occasional tour boat go by. Taxi ride to the fish market only costs a couple...

A bit outside the main attractions of Valdivia, this property is set on the riverfront and features great views of the river with a nice outdoor seating area. The staff was very friendly and helpful, offering us a welcome drink upon arrival and making sure we had all we needed during our stay. The room was basic and a bit...

From the moment we arrived-- especially Daniela-- we were well treated. Our rooms faced the tranquil and nearly mystical river. The breakfast and food we consumed on site were excellent. Although not in the center of the city, tis is what made the hotel so wonderful-- its tranquil yet 5 minute cab ride to center location.

Just stayed for 2 nights in this hotel as I came down to Valdivia to run a trail running race (Torrencial Valdivia). Both nights the hot shower didn't work. In a hotel with a rate north of $100/night this is totally unacceptable. When checking out I asked for an answer from management (apologies, excuse, etc) but they just said that...

Hotel Naguilan occupies a former shipbuilers' office building on the river south of downtown Valdivia. Our room faced the river, with a private patio and a nice view of the river and the boats moored upstream. The lobby is well appointed, our room was very nice, bathroom was modern and well maintained, there was a nice breakfast. It was very...

The hotel itself has a lot of character, an interesting looking set of buildings, set on a riverside in a very peaceful location. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room I had was on the river side. It had a lovely view as attached and was well catered. Nice minibar, a little pricey but nice nonetheless. The laundry service...

This is a superb hotel, curiously placed within a gritty neighborhood. It truly is like an oasis along the river. The building, the property, the rooms are all focused on the river, and one can easily forget the surrounding neighborhood on the other side once you enter the property. The fusion restaurant is superb, for both dinner and a very...

This is a nice hotel, beautifully situated on the river for some peace and quiet. Very friendly front desk staff - with the best English skills I've encountered in the area. They have a little breakfast included in the rate which is not the best spread - but will suffice in a pinch. They also have a nice lakeside patio...
