I cannot express how lovely Jennifer the receptionist was. We arrived 9PM weary and bedraggled We wanted something to but had gotten lost on the way so I didn't want to drive. Their chef had only spaghetti left but he recommended Las Brazas restaurant and Jennifer drove us to the restaurant. She even offered to come back and pick us...

Superb service and setting. Warm and impecably clean. Carol's boutique hotel is a great place to relax and enjoy visit to Lake Villarica. Wonderfull view of lake overlooking town. Away from noise and traffic with a magnificent garden. Jeniffer and staff accomodated all our needs. Super breakfast customized to our whims. They will go above and beyond to assure a...

La Hosteria de la Colina was a wonderful refuge for my first time in Chile. Having not traveled abroad in many years I was drawn to this country inn by its owner, Carol. During a visit to her former home of Orlando (where I currently reside), she intrigued me with a description of the promised beauty of her quaint hotel...

Great place to stay the people there as so nice and on the ball, there are always other guests coming and going. All their stories of where they've been and where they're going is interesting!! If you ever get the chance definitely go with to this Bed and Breakfast!

This is a lovely place tucked up on a hill overlooking the enormous Lake Villarrica. The new owners are doing a good job following in the footsteps of the past innkeepers who had a long and well respected reputation for excellent service. Each room is different, so be sure to check out the one that will suit you best. Breakfasts...

Very nice hotel, superb bilingual staff. Wifi, great garden, parking, excellent hotel, fabulous breakfast, laundry service, playing room with ping pong. We had the best stay and extended our one night to three nights. Oh, don't forget the hot tub.

We stayed in Hostería de la Colina 10 years ago when it was owned by our friends, Bev and Glenn, and often ate dinner there, savored Glenn's fabulous ice cream, and chose much of our landscaping from Bev's vivero (nursery). We hadn't visited much since Carol bought Las Colinas, but she came to our rescue last week. We spent a...

Spent a wonderful two nights last week at Hosteria de la Colina, with a lovely room, excellent food, and warm service. While not luxurious, the accommodations are quite nice, clean, and quiet. There was a new chef who had started just prior to our stay, and we enjoyed a terrific dinner of hake, pureed black beans, and grilled zucchini, all...

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the grounds of the Hosteria. The landscaping is gorgeous and mature. The morning sunrises are divine. We had excellent dinners there twice. The nights are quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed the wood fired hot tub. As dog-lovers, we especially enjoyed Pepo and Mocha. The location is nice - a little off the beaten path...

We arrived at La Hosteria in the middle of a five week tour of Argentina and Chile after being on the move for almost three weeks.
