This was a great choice for my short stay in Santiago. The staff were super nice and helpful. The neighborhood and location were safe and convenient. The staff really made my visit and were also super helpful when I emailed questions before my visit.

We had a wonderful experience here. Such a lovely place, full of charm. We were shown to the top floor and given one of those old decorative keys. Huge room with a huge bathroom. Our room was cleaned everyday and we were given fresh towels whenever we needed them. We never had any issue with noise, but we worried about...

I stayed here for 5 nights, off and on, in the April, 2017. Each time, had a great stay, and has to be one of my favorite hotels in SA. The hotel is an old mansion and has artistic flourishes from long ago; the rooms, while not luxurious, are comfortable and quiet. Bathrooms are basic, but fine. The staff is...

NIce location for most tourist sites. We found a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The room, while not extravagant was comfortable and quite adequate for our 3 night stay. The Continental breakfast was very good and provided a good start for the day. The staff were very friendly and more than wiling to provide whatever tourist and other info you may...

Close to the metro station, and easy to get to. The private rooms are small but very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is great quality. Gluten-free options are possible. Very safe, there is always someone at the desk. The workers give good advice, and there is always someone that can speak English. Highly recommended.

This was a great place to stay in Santiago. It has great security, is in a great location that makes it extremely easy to get around, has staff available to answer questions 24/7, there's a nice little handcraft shop right there on site, a nice cafe to get a cup of coffee or snack, and a wonderful breakfast in the...

Enjoyed our two days here. Interesting old building, lots to look at. Very good breakfast. Easy walk to central areas. We asked for a quiet room but unfortunately other guests weren't considerate about notices asking for quiet after 10pm. After two sleepless hours listening to loud chatter and braying laughter, I went down in my PJs to ask them to...

This hostal is well located, near restaurants, a subway station, and within walking distance of a lot of tourist attractions. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were two people in a four-bed room, so there was a lot of space. The floorboards on the room above us were quite squeaky, though.

We stayed here twice over Jan/Feb 2017 bookending our trip to Chile. The Hostal has friendly and welcoming staff, comfortable well decorated rooms and generous breakfasts to start the day. The location offers easy access to Santiago amenities.
