In the historical center of Santiago, near the Cerro Santa Lucia, at Paseo Huerfanos and close to Paseo Ahumada, two market streets of Santiago. This Apart-hotel is one of the places to stay when traveling to Santiago.

But it's not for beginners, or lazy tourists. As it's an apart hotel, it's not luxurious, nor has room service (just an employee that change the towels and clean the room). To be accurate the rooms, are actually apartments in a building that is part residential and part hotel. There's no clerk, but a caretaker of the building that has no connection to the "Bellas Artes Apart", they work for the apartment complex, that has some apartments that belongs to the Hotel. The hosts have to their work.

If you overcome this, you can enjoy a safe place, like a port to rest in between your tours in Santiago. There are many good restaurants around, in the same block there's a small market to buy your necessities. The apartment is neat and clean, and has a full kitchen, if you wanna cook some fresh seafood, or even if you're tired of walking Santiago and want to have a meal at your hotel.

The satisfaction is a relation of expectation and realization, if you stay there knowing beforehand that you're really renting an apartment for some days, you''l enjoy it. It's not cheap, but not so expensive. Stay there knowing where you really are, and enjoy the freedom of an easy to rent apartment in the historical center of Santiago

Got to Chile in late March and got this place at the tourist kiosk in in the Airport, 18000 pesos van ride for family of four. Paid $120 dollars for the room and we crashed for a few hours and then went out. Think this is good value if you are staying in Santiago and plan on getting out. Hotel is a mix of apartments and hotel rooms. Ours was fine, 13th floor. Room was like a small studio but had a twin bed and two single beds for our kids. Room had small kitchen and fridge. Breakfast was basic but sufficied, I wanted to eat out in town. Very convenient to walk to the Moneda, Plaza de Armas, Cerro Santa Lucia, and Mercado Central. Staff was very attentive and helpful with our needs and help us get a rental car.

Have stayed at better places but they cost upwards of $250. Think this was a very good deal, good location, and friendly staff. Would stay here again vice paying for a more expensive hotel.

The hotel staff is super attentive, all the amenities were included (fair breakfast, hot water, heater, internet, cable tv and even a kitchen) and it is in the center of Santiago, close to subway and several tourist attractions, but we were disappointed when we compared the room we received with the pictures we had seen on the Internet.
The quilts were tacky, there were old overused pillows and the walls are in need of painting.
It can help you out if you cannot find better and cheaper options.

Travel kiosk at airport told us its a 3 star hotel - it is not!! Just a couple rooms in an apartment block. We were overcharged for the room - US$130 - but had little choice at 5am. The staff were completely unhelpful. The Internet did not work. THIS IS NOT A HOTEL - CLOSER TO A HOSTEL. DON'T STAY HERE!!!

Atte Felipe Ceardi

We had to find a place to stay in Santiago due to flight problems. The cab driver recommended this place, and for the money, was a poor value. I found out the next day a Canadian couple in the same situation paid $15 less than I did.

The staff were friendly, and the room was small and noisy. There is NO A/C, just a fan by the window. So you either roast with a closed window, or stay somewhat cool with an open window and running fan. The breakfast was awful, and the fact they charge $5 for internet access is absurd, as you can go around the corner and get online for one tenth that amount.

Would I ever stay there again? Absolutely not!

This is essentially an AirB&B type place in a decent location in Santiago, but everything inside the apartment is falling apart. My sister burned her hand on the ridiculously hot light switch, the water in the shower/bathroom sink goes from freezing to scalding in a matter of seconds, the Wifi was barely functional, utensils and glassware were missing, and outlets never worked.

The lady who provided breakfast was nice. That is the end of the positives.
We notice that there are few reviews on Tripadvisor- that is because nobody goes there- for good reason. We booked it from the airport because we arrived at 0430 in the morning.
It was $130 but we had no choice at that hour. There was no discount for getting there after the night was over. Also there was no extension of checkout. Other apartments are beautiful with good service in Santiago for $90 so why stay in this execrable dump? When we paid $140 to the guy he forgot to give us the US$10 change. Chileans we have met said there is no way he forgot but I guess I will give him benefit of the considerable doubt. He seemed to think we had done the 20 hour trip from Sydney and thought we were inexperienced and flustered. Actually we came from Costa Rica and can speak Spanish. So we were not the mugs he assumed- but we were exhausted after the 8 hour flight and had no choice. This dump is mean spirited, cold and way too
exorbitantly expensive. The waste doesn’t flush- appropriate because management does not give a (expletive). And I mean waste does not flush- I don't mean the paper. The toilet seat rocks sideways. The water was cold but when I rang him he seemed to correct it and I suddenly got scalded by hot water. The floor was like a swimming pool after the shower. The beds were uncomfortable and we froze since there was no heater. Apart from that it was fantastic.
Oh one more thing later in the morning the woman at the front desk called a taxi for us. She said we had to wait forty minutes for it- so we went outside where dozens of vacant taxis were going past. Obviously she had called a buddy. We felt like mugging victims in this hole- not valued guests. The few favourable reviews of this place are of dubious origin IMHO. Beware there are very few reviews at all of this place on Tripadvisor. This place is why Tripadvisor exists- to warn unsuspecting tourists. If it was possible to give it a lower grading I would.

Atte Felipe Ceardi
