I stayed at the Hotel in a Suite Feb 5-8, 2020. It was a wonderful experience, the front desk staff, the door men, the concierge , room service, and the in house restaurant were wonderful. The hotel is in a very safe area, you can walk freely around the Hotel, and a few blocks away is a great street full of top restaurants. ATM , machines are close by, and the hotel will give you up to 100 USA worth of Chiliean Pesos and add it to your bill. So, you really do not have to use an ATM machine. The conierge arranges all the tourist tours etc. Wine Tours, City Tours, Valipariso Tours etc. The only place one might get pick pocketed would be down town aren.

Really enjoyed staying here. The rooms were more then expected. It was like a small apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths , living room and kitchen. Very clean and walking within minutes of restaurants and the subway. Very nice buffet breakfast. The personnel where very helpful, usually at least one spoke english. This hoel is near the business district which made the price of the apartment less than half the price of staying in the middle of the city .We stayed here for 3 days before going on to Rapa Nui. Highly recommend !

Great location 5 minute walk to the large shopping centre and the Turistico bus stop (number 5 I think). The concierge directed us to a nearby street with a wide variety of restaurants and bars.

Well away from the recent troubles.

Staff are excellent, very friendly and most speak excellent English. Our room was large, clean and we heard no noise from the street. Bathroom was on the small size but perfectly adequate shower and water supply was good.

Breakfast was a buffet style service. There was a wide choice of food.

The pool is small you are able to get in several strokes.

I can't say enough about the service, we felt like family from the minute we walked in [security, front desk, restaurant, room service, everyone]. Quiet, spacious, and clean room and bathroom. Love the bathrobes and the comfortable beds.
It was so convenient to have a small but regular refrigerator.
Having the ability to close the doors to the bedroom allow us to have guest for meetings prior to go to the restaurant for dinner.
The restaurant food was absolutely delicious and prices very reasonable. Personnel made it easy with reservations and attention to my guests.
The pool was heated and with great city views and open space. Sauna was a great plus.
My teen and guests love the game room.
I highly recommend this hotel. I will definitely go back.

We have stayed over the years in this hotel and like it each year more. The staff is great, the location perfect. It is low key. We feel at home. The lobby is very warm and friendly. Having a restaurant and a bar is very helpful. The staff at the restaurant cannot be more accommodating, even if you decide to have the drink or ice cream sitting in a sofa in the lobby.

A great hotel, near the sky building and shopping mall and a local supermarket. The food is excellent for breakfast and dinner and the staff are Friendly and helpful. We had a suite which was a good size with separate area for sitting and cooking and 2 large beds.

We checked in Sat Jan 20 for a weeks stay in Santiago. The weather was in the 90's F all week. The hotel room was warm for the first few nights but on Wednesday night our room got so warn we could not sleep. We spoke to management expressed our concerns and they told us they would address it. Thursday evening the room was comfortable all night. Come Friday I guess they thought we left or something. The room got uncomfortably hot again. We called down and they did nothing.

Here is the breakdown.

1. The hotel maintenance staff checked our rooms air conditioner twice and proclaimed zero mechanical issues with the unit in our room.
2. We asked some technical questions and this hotels AC units run on "chilled water" Which means all the room units are cooled by centrally distributed cold water.
3. We asked if the chilled water system was turned down or off at night and the answer was yes.

So my big issue is same room, same AC unit, same weather outside. Why do I have different temperatures in my room? I think we can all surmise that answer...

It was not all bad, Water pressure in shower was good, location was good, free parking, staff was nice but their hands were tied by management on our AC issue. One person even offered to buy us drinks, they felt so bad we were getting the short end of the stick.

However, more bad... Bed sucked (soft), Breakfast had same items every day. Elevators were very small and one of three was down for maintenance 5 of 7 our days there. Toilet clogged if you flushed one tissue down it!!!

My advice, Don't stay here. There are plenty of other hotels in the area.

We really enjoyed our stay in Santiago. The area seemed very safe and clean, close to shopping malls and attractions.
The room was very clean and spacious (executive suite). The A/C however did NOT suffice.
Temps in January are in the mid to upper 90's. No matter how high we turned the a/c up, the room would not cool down...
The front desk attendees aren't too friendly, and seem to get upset or frustrated easily at simple questions.

The hotel is alright, but it is in a great area. I think there is a great opportunity for improvement. There is free breakfast that includes fruit, bread and eggs. The front desk could be friendlier but the severs are great!

The Hotel is located in a good spot for shopping and going out for dinner. In general the infrastructure is getting old. In my opinion the must renew some items, for example curtains, carpets, etc.
The breakfast was better in former times. No its standard for the prices you pay.

Diane, ring or email the hotel and the front desk / concierge will arrange the pickup in a hotel van. I did this in December with a party of 4 and it was about USD 50 from memory. The head concierge is Mauricio Jerez.

The hotel has its own minivan, plus other services they can call on. We asked them to arrange the transfer the day before we left and they put the cost on the hotel bill.

Hi Monique, The hotel is smoking-free. There is no balcony. I'm an smoker too I had to get out of the hotel to smoke, but for me that was fine. Unfortunately I don't know a hotel in Santiago where smoking is allowed. Edgar.:
