I travelled to Santiago by myself, and, as it is s very big city, I was worried about staying at an unsafe location. However, I am pleased to say that the area around the hotel seemed really organized and secure, and the path to the metro station is very short and easy. About the hotel itself, the room was excellent, with a comfortable bed, a safe, a very large TV and a desk. Wi-Fi worked well (of course, not exactly perfect, but good enough), and the bathroom facilities also were perfectly adequate. The staff were kind and always ready to answer my questions and give me recommendations. Therefore, I am pleased to be able to recommend Capital Bellet to whomever wants to visit Santiago!

I loved everything and the location is more than perfect. It’s is in a walking disntance from the costanere shopping center, there are some metro stations around and plenty of nice restaurants in the area. The breakfast is very nice and the cool thing is that when you have a tour in the city before the breakfast starts, you can tell reception on the day before until 6pm and they will prefere a breakfast to go for you.

Nice and clean, room was good but not very spacious for a double. Bathroom was nice but there were no toiletries, just liquid hand soap. It is very well located with all seevices nearby (bank, groceries, souvenirs, bars, restaurants).
The food at the restaurant was excellent (mostly the desserts) but a little bit pricey. The manager and staff were friendly all the time.

Located in a quiet, central location in the wonderful neighborhood of Providencia. Plenty of good restaurants, shops around, and good public transport connections. I stayed at this hotel for 11 nights. This is a relatively new hotel with some potential. However, I had an unpleasant stay and experienced serious shortcomings, which I hope the hotel will take up and remedy wherever possible. The good and the bad:

Positives
- Hotel is new so interior has a fresh feel.
- Location is excellent in a nice, central neighborhood of Santiago, currently underserved by hotels.
- Staff seem mostly well-intentioned in personal interactions.
- Rooms are luminous with floor to ceiling windows, and nice views.

Negatives
- This is a new hotel, which skipped on offering a whole range of amenities that are pretty standard for hotels in this class. I requested a water boiler for making tea, an iron. None were available.
- ALL beds are rollaway beds with wheels! See picture. So expect your bed to roll around.
- Hotel security - The doors of the rooms have no installed fish eyes so it is not possible to identify a person who knocks on the door before opening the door (see picture). Moreover, doors do not have a metal latch that allows room occupiers to partially open a door while blocking the entrance.
- I have seen hotels add numerous dubious charges over the years but this must be the most surreal one. Towards the end of my stay, I found a letter in Spanish in my room announcing US$ 24,- worth of charges for ‘mal uso’ (inappropriate use) of towels (see picture). I went to the manager to talk about this and ask for an explanation as the letter provided none. Apparently, guests are charged for stains room service finds on towels. Moreover, staff actually had gone through my trash (!) to identify culprits for stains they had found: Avocado-, soy- stains in my case. In total, three towels were affected over the course of my 11 night stay. Hotel staff had kept the dirty towels separate so I made a picture. To me, these stains looked minor and easy to remove using any laundry machine program involving detergent and warm water (see picture to judge yourself). However, I was explained that the laundry service of the hotel does not ‘do stains’, and that make-up remains, and residues of hair products incur similar charges. I thought this was a joke, but it was not. The charge was non-negotiable.
- Climate control. Rooms have large, floor-to-ceiling windows, which is nice. However, room temperatures can get very high during times of the day when sun rays are angled towards the building. There are blinds that offer some protection and rooms do have air conditioning equipment (at least good enough for dealing with the spring weather I encountered during my stay). However, climate control is turned off if room keys are not inserted in the socket next to the entry door. Therefore, rooms are uncomfortably hot for a period when guests return to their rooms while air conditioning is starting up and doing its work.
- Hygiene, cleanliness – Apart from my concerns about the level of hygiene of a cleaning service that proclaims it is only able to remove ‘invisible’ stains from towels (as the manager told me), room cleaning is inconsistent. See for example a picture of the cleanliness of glasses, which was an issue throughout my stay. I stayed in two rooms over the duration of my 11-night stay, and one room was clearly cleaned better than the other. To protect the environment, the hotel asks guests to place a card on the bed if guests want sheets changed. This card disappeared from my room after I had placed the card on the bed a second time. Also, the bathroom floor is not tiled. This is a new hotel, but I already noted that bathroom humidity was soaking up/detaching the laminate-like flooring of the bathroom.
- 10 minute elevator rides ☺ Again, purely unnecessary due to poor hotel management choices. The hotel opted for a cheaper elevator system, in which each elevator is operated individually. To call an elevator, guests must push multiple buttons for different elevators, so that the first elevator that passes a floor stops. This is a cheaper system than in use at most hotels but results in elevators making lots of duplicate, unnecessary stops, leading to frustratingly long elevator rides during busy times.
- Internet connectivity was generally ok for most tasks, but network settings led to issues with my VPN connection, and Skype/Whatsapp calls were interrupted during regular time intervals.

So, overall this hotel stay was a disappointing experience, with lots of unnecessary annoyances. I hate to write negative reviews, but hope my review will be helpful to fellow travelers and the hotel in improving its service and offering. As I said, the location and new building of the hotel offer lots of potential!

I reserved a SUPERIOR room and paid 4 months upfront. When I checked in, I was given a room much smaller than the photos of my reservation. My first impression was that photos may appear larger than real. On the third day I noticed that the room besides mine was much bigger (the the cleaner lady was tiding up the room) and I asked her if my room was a SUPERIOR room. She said that mine was a standard.
I went to the front desk and all I got was that there was no SUPERIOR room when I checked in. So 2 observations? 1) I paid up front (I mean 4 months upfront); 2) Why they didn´t mention that when I checked in?. I truly belie this was intentionally assuming I would not figure out I was given a smaller one. Remark. On my reservation observation field I explained I was going to have my 15th wedding anniversary celebration.
So I requested a refund of the difference of the rooms (Superior x Standard). It was refused and the front desk attended even laughed at me. The manager also made me feel all was done on purpose.
Totally disappointed.
Stay away from this dishonest place.

I booked a room I had to cancel due to hurricanes.
I sent them an email to check if a change was possible or book for new dates. They did not even answer! That's how great they are.

I was so surprised that I mentioned what happened to my colleagues and, surprise again, some of them stayed in this hotel and were very upset with the way they were treated (kitchen closing at 22.30 that does not want to prepare a cup of tea at 22.10, etc etc).

They are bad at gaining customers.
They are bad at retaining customers.
They are bad. So bad I think they are the best at being bad!

Conclusion:
If you want to be mistreated, this could be your first option.

Very new building and great spot for exploring nearby restaurants and bars. There is an Oxxo store next door. Our room was clean and modern but a little bit small size. One receptionist at our arrival (after midnight) was very demanding with deposit and credit cards... the staff could be more friendlier.

Stayed for a week here and was very comfortable. Fantastic central location in Providencia, a short walk to 2 Metro Stations, plenty of bars and restaurants, Gran Torre and the Constanera Centre, Parque Metropolitano and much more. The first thing I noticed was the number of powerpoints, so often, hotels just don't seem to have accessible powerpoints. The WiFi was mostly excellent. There are floor to ceiling blackout curtains, a comfortable bed and pillows to ensure a good quality sleep. Good sized TV. The bathroom is functional, though the shower can overflow sometimes - it wasn't that much that it was a big deal though. There are no tea and coffee facilities available in the room, but tea and coffee are available 24/7 on the counter in the little bar on the ground floor - complete with selection of pastries. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good with various options from bacon and eggs to fruit and cereals to cold meats and cheese (hours 6.30am to 10.00am). Always an excellent selection of tasty, and changing, pastries. The Restaurant is very good with a nice selection of wines, including the at one time unique to Chile Carmenere. During the week they offer a 3 course dinner for 10,990 pesos, with a nice variety for each course - the quality is quite good. The Providencia Market for fresh fruit is across the road, about 50 metres towards the big church (Iglesias Divina Providencia). Overall it was a very pleasant stay and I would definitely stay again.
