I found the single beds too narrow for an adult and with only one pillow, which may make some people uncomfortable.
It has a snack service that can be purchased at any time at a reasonable price.
The staff is friendly and the infrastructure is basic and has very good connectivity with the subway half a block away and the bus station in front.
I recommend it to stay for a couple of days in case you have to do paperwork near the center but not for vacation.

The receptionist was ready to go for lunch and didn’t explain the facilities in the hotel, I wish the ambassador of the hotel was there, I meet her last day and she make me feel more welcoming.
I hope after this experience staff can be more aware about give better service to the clients.
For locals should be good because is a convenience place to stay.
I had completed the online check-in process in advance, as recommended by an email from Accor. However, upon arrival, the receptionist informed me that this hotel did not have this functionality enabled. This was quite frustrating and resulted in an extended wait of approximately 35 minutes for check-in, which is excessive.
On the plus side, the soundproofing of the room was excellent, allowing for a quiet night's sleep. However, the bathroom was disappointing, with obvious deterioration in the shower area.
Clogged bathroom with hair, insufficient cleaning which does not match the standard of the Ibis I know. I forwarded the same message above on 30/08/24, on 01/09/24 the Ibis returned informing that me.sagwm was forwarded to the hotel and until today I have not received the return.
-The room was comfortable, but there were only bottles of liquid soap in the bathroom. Nothing else.
-We left at dawn to the airport and had to pay $12,000 for parking, even though they told us it was free.

But it is also central to Santiago, ideal for a few days of leisure travel in this vibrant city.
Service is prompt and friendly, and delivers the "Ibis" brand standard very well.
Rooms are compact, but excellent value at their prices. And despite the central location, we slept very well with little noise. The street drum performance finished about 10.30pm, just in time for my beauty sleep!
Thankfully, they also provided real soap for the bathrooms, not the "prison cell" dispenser that their Bogota equivalents provide!
A few suggestions for travellers...
- make sure you pay in USD and show your tourist identification in your passport, to avoid the VAT (tax).
- I also suggest you join the Accor loyalty program, be fore booking, to obtain good booking and pricing.
- a benefit of this hotel is the bus transfer to and from the Santiago airport - at CLP1700 each way, the cheapest and best airport transfer. The hotel is a few metres from the service's city terminal, and also sits just above the "University of Santiago" Station of the excellent metro rail system (not the central station, suggested by s name, so do not get confused).
- this hotel is also close to the meeting point for the Free Walking Tour (see my review of this excellent introduction to the city).
The only drawback was the food standard at the hotel's restaurant. Prices were quite decent, especially the basic breakfast at USD5 pp. But the dinner meal standard was not much to excite you!
Overall, a good cage, well recommended.
