located in safe neighborhood. Hot in Jan so windows open, loud tenants and staff. Lock didn’t fit lockers. Weak WIFI only works in common area. Bathrooms with hot showers are functional, but doors falling off hinges.

Pros: Funky hostel with a lot of character. We stayed here with our 11-month-old baby and it was hassle-free. Breakfast in the garden was a highlight, as was being able to drop off laundry at reception. Staff were very friendly. Cons: the bead curtain to the bathroom provides no privacy whatsoever. The tap ran all night because it didn't close completely. Lots of noise from the street at night. Note: There is no room for a travel cot in the double room so we co-slept.

After a bit messy check in we slept really good on the nice bed of the hostel. The bathrooms were old and some maintenance should be done. Also not everything was really clean. The staff was overall friendly. There was a nice breakfast.

The hostel The Princesa Insolente is charming and clean, a safe and friendly place to stay in Santiago. The administration, as well as the services, are done by wonderful people. Besides that, it's very well located, close to metro station and plenty os services.

Princesa Insolante is located 20min walking distance from historical centre and presidential palace. There are 2 metro stations nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful. Hostel was well decorated with a lot of seating areas, a outside yard, a tv area, kitchen shared with staff. The bedroom was pleasant and furniture felt new-ish. BUT the curtains were inadequate. There were also windows to the hallway which had no curtains at all even though there were bright lights on all night. All in all a really good hostel. Wifi wasn't very strong

Very nice location in barrio Brazil, near the center by foot. The double room has a very comfortable bed but the bathroom really needs to be renovated, it didn’t feel welcoming at all and seemed even a bit dirty. The kitchen is well equipped and terrasse very nice...but you want to be far away from it to have a good night’s sleep !

This was a very fun place to stay. The lounge is central and always active with people socializing and buying each other beers from the bar. The kitchen was complete and spacious. I had one minor issue while I was there but it was settled quickly by one of the staff, I think his name was Ignacio. The Wi-Fi could use a like improvement, we had to keep switching between the available routers. It was an awesome place to stay though, a few blocks from the subway.

My husband and I stayed in a private room while visiting Santiago. This was a great location in that two metro lines were easily accessible as well as restaurants and a grocery store. The road was loud at night sometimes. The private room came with breakfast which was great. The staff was very friendly and most spoke English which was helpful for us.
