Interesting place. We booked the "loft" apartment, got a kitchen, fridge, sitting area (convertible couch to bed), two balconies complete with pets (a couple of pigeons who visited us daily, and one got inside the apartment for a look around when I wasn't watching), and a bedroom loft. AC worked well, showerhead was weird, it was a detachable head, but the housing to hold it in place didn't work, so you kind of had to hose off. Fair price, great location. Quiet most of the time. They only give you one key to get in the building, so that would be a pain if you're a couple and want to do different things, but generally you can wait outside and go in when someone comes out. There is no daily maid service, you need to make your own bed, whatevs. I'd stay there again. Be careful with cab drivers at the airport, the one who took us to the hotel charged us twice what the airbnb driver charged us for the ride back.

I’ve just stayed for 5 days/4 nights in this service apartment. The check-in was very smooth and they allowed me to get my loft much earlier, which I appreciated after a more than 24-hours flight. The loft is very spacious and well equipped. The moment I’ve entered, I felt home. The location could have not been any better. Just a few metres to all the attractions in Santiago de Chile. Restaurants and Cafés are near by, not typical for tourists more for locals. The AC works well for the kitchen/living room area, but not for the bedroom area. Fortunately, it cooled down outside, so I could open the window until early morning, when it became noisy. Cleaning was not included, but for 15 USD they did it. Floor from the lift to the room was always occupied with laundry- big minus!!! English is spoken at the reception.

We did not realize that this would be a two-level room when we rented. At 70, we are no longer fans of stairs -- particularly those without any rails. If we had realized that, we would have chosen something else (and they do have smaller single-level rooms here). That said, the biggest real complaint is the noise. The windows are single-pane, and overlook a busy street,. We hear trucks and garbage trucks and street cleaning trucks and... did I mention trucks? well past midnight. Double pane windows would go a long way towards minimizing the noise problem. The staff at the front desk is extremely polite and goes well out of his way to be helpful. The cleaning staff not so much... We put out the "clean up now" sign when we left. Upon returning, the sign was gone, but there is no indication a maid was here at all. Toiletries not replaced. Rug not vacuumed. Spills on counter still there.

We stayed there for 5 days and are happy with the space and amenities provided . The only issue we have is with the old TVs . The programs are all in Spanish so we don't use them anyways. The hotel is just beside St. Lucia Hill and a short walking distance from major attractions and shopping districts. There are many restaurants around the corner.

We were happy with the extra space of our loft apartment, room to spread out. Quiet, and the furniture was comfortable. Location is good if you walk in the right direction. Supermarket one block away, Place de Armas and the museums 10 minutes away, the cool Lastarria district 10 minutes away. A couple words of caution: No English language channels on the TV. The AC does not reach the upper floor sleeping area, so very cold downstairs and a bit warm up. They need ceiling fans. But overall we were happy.

This property has apartments; one building is a hotel with breakfast included, maid service, etc. We stayed one (of several) towers that has an apartment but NO maid service, breakfast or restaurant. At first, I was dismayed but then found that there's a huge supermarket a one-minute walk away. Once I had water, food, wine, tissues, etc., I really liked it. The kitchen was fully functional, though not overly stocked with cookware. I was too busy to cook dinner; a light breakfast was fine for me. The bed was very comfortable. The bed and bathroom are on the second floor of the loft. It is very safe, quiet, inexpensive. Nice view as well. SO much within walking distance, so in the end, I was VERY happy with my little home away from home. I was there for 7 nights. There is also a gym and a cool playroom for children with LOTS of blow-up bouncing toys. I don't think there is a pool, but not sure.

This place was great. But most of the pictures are so finely orchestrated that I was misled into thinking that a normal one-bed room was going to be an "apartment hotel" for me and my lady. The place was clean. But it had a lack of tables, no real chairs (only one with a back, the others were stools) and some random open space where a table would just make sense! Plus I expected a separate bathroom but what we got was a walk-in connected bathroom with a shower room. Also lighting was a little harsh. Either way to bright (no covers) or too dull (not enough lumens). Our TV was permanently tilted. The elevator also went like so: Floor 1, 0, 2, 3. Just weird for that part. Breakfast was "ok". They deliver it to your refrigerator while you are out, or you can just take it from the employee when he comes by during that time. No menu, you just get a few sandwiches, yogurt, juice, milk, and instant coffee/tea. Staff was great in our requests. Although I would recommend this place to others, I don't think a single bedroom like the one we had is comfortable enough for what should qualify as an "apartment hotel". A good example of such a location is Lastarria 43-61 Apartments or La Sebastiana Suites. Most likely more expensive, but these types of apartment hotel rooms offer multiple rooms: a kitchen, a living room with couch, counter, chairs and dining table, and a full bathroom. I had too choose between these three places and J chose Park Plaza expecting something along those lines. This is why I think if you're going to stay there, go all out and go with the loft option. It is most likely way better.

After reading some reviews I was very worried I'd booked this hotel. What a surprise it was to arrive to a nice large room , very clean, a kitchenette, hot powerful shower with soaps & shampoos , a walk in robe - I just can't fault this hotel . We had no trouble with wifi & found it a quiet hotel. The breakfast box delivered to your fridge was plentiful & more than we needed. Highly recommend this hotel. Our room was 313 - very happy.

My wife and I stayed in one of these loft apartments for three night and found it very comfortable. The apartments are two levels with a longe and kitchen and balcony on the lower level and the bed and bathroom on the upper level. There is also a walk in robe upstairs and a further small balcony. The bed is comfortable, the water hot in the shower over bath tub and the place just feels comfortable. The view from our 12 th floor balcony was great. We could see the fort on Santa Lucia Hill almost level on and past that, the beautiful and striking snow covered Andes mountains. The hotel is on one of the main streets that turns in the main pedestrian shopping mall a couple of blocks down. It is walking distance to almost everything with the Main Plaza, Central Market and Palace only a few blocks away. The Santa Lucia Hill complex is virtually across the road. There is a large supermarket in the next Street which you can use to stock the full sized fridge. The apartment has a normal oven as well as a microwave. However, the hotel is so close to some great restaurants and bars that you probably won't use the kitchen too much. Just on the other side of the Santa Lucia Hill there is a great little area with lots of trendy restaurants and bars that range in price from very cheap to expensive. All types of cuisine can be found with a 10 minute walk of the hotel. The staff were also very friendly and efficient and spoke English well. Overall we enjoyed our stay in this comfortable hotel and great location. We would recommend it and would stay here again every time we go to Santiago.
