I enjoyed our stay at Mito Casa Hotel, but could have been better. We stayed for a week and had a late night check in (2 AM). Were received quickly. The front desk staff was super helpful and sometimes chatty, which I liked. One time Oscar helped us with a tour operator that was late for pickup, which otherwise we...

The hotel's location is very good. What I loved here is its garden and having breakfast in a warm atmosphere with other people. The bed in the room was so huge for the room. The people were OK, not so helpful, but acceptable.

We stayed here 2 nights at the start of our holiday and returned for one night at the end when we were greeted like long lost family and this probably summed the place up. The owners and staff (especially Tamara) were so friendly and helpful. The building has several interesting architectural features including lovely old wooden floors. We had a...

This is a "hotel" in name only. Our 2-night stay in the ghastly room 16 (where the temperature never dropped below 88 degrees F) was cut short when the SINK FELL OFF, injuring my foot and spraying glass (from the shelf beneath it) EVERYWHERE! No apologies, no attempt to assist us in finding another room at 8 PM--STAY AWAY FROM...

Decent older hotel, decent breakfast, decent price, but located one block from the Metro and walking distance to a host of restaurants, clubs, and attractions including Bella Vista, Forestall Park, the mercados ( Central, Fleuriste, etc.) and not too far from Neruda's house museum and the funicular up San Christophe hill. The woman who works the desk in the day...

Just wrapped up a 6 day stay in Santiago for the dedication of the Bahai Temple. I stayed for four nights at Mito Casa Hotel on Providencia. I transferred to Mito after being booked at a B&B around the corner called "Posada" - not a very nice place. Mito Casa hotel, on the other hand, was delightful. The hotel has...

Spent several nights in Mito Casa and really enjoyed the stay. It's situated 10 minutes walk from the 'downtown' part of the city, where all the main shops and museums are. The room was very clean and tidy, nice bathroom with hot shower. The building was constructed in the 20s and has a deco feel about it, with some original...

we stayed here for 4 nights and after our initial concern because it was on the main road, we were delighted with the location, the size of the rooms, the hotel's quaint character but especially the super helpful and friendly owners and staff. Good English and genuine people.

This hotel has great style with many original Art Deco features. The rooms are very comfortable with good beds. Breakfast is a delight. The staff are extremely helpful. There is a metro station 100 metres away and many bars and restaurants within walking distance. There is a pleasant courtyard to enjoy a glass of wine. We loved it here and...

Great small hotel based in the centre of Providencia, good sized rooms, nice if small shower room with pleasant balcony / seating area to the rear. The hotel is within easy walk of all of the historic districts and staff are very helpful. Hotel is quite quirkily furnished but has everything we needed for a short city break in Santiago....
