I am a Custom Travel Specialists doing site visits in Santiago and all of Chile so I decided to spend my first three nights at the Sheraton. All Staff has been super friendly and very accommodating. I am traveling alone so I spend time at the bar and eat there as well. The Bartenders and Waitstaff - Francisco, Vicente, Cristian and Victor are excellent and some of the friendliest people I have ever met. The location is excellent as you can walk easily to San Cristobal Hill as I did and some great local restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for business, leisure, and families!

We stayed three nights when in Santiago. Excellent location, shopping and numerous restaurants within walking distance. It is situated right on the river, which has nice green spaces to walk on both sides, and a sculpture garden about 1 KM. Very good breakfast was included, excellent omelet station. Front desk was friendly and helpful. We secured a late checkout of 5 PM for a nominal fee, due to a late flight.

Terrible - avoid. Access to room was delayed. Receptionist didn't even give directions to get to it when it was available. They also gave no information about any of the facilities, including breakfast details or internet access. The internet was a problem, since the only guide to the hotel available is a QR code, which you can't access because you don't have the WiFi code. Neither of the phones in the room work. The shower gel is in locked mode and inaccessible, and the shower only does scalding or freezing. I now have red burn marks over me. I can only say two good things about it - it is where it says it is; and the concierge team are actually very helpful. Easily my worst hotel stay in 15 years. Astounding given the chain it belongs to.

This was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. The room was large, very clean, comfortable and quiet. We checked in at 9:30 AM still in time for an excellent buffet breakfast behind the pool, omelets, scrambled eggs, meat, pastry, fruit, juice and coffee. Well maintained. There are dinner options there as well, which were very good. Would recommend this hotel

From the check in to check out it was a great experience. As diamond members we are given a suit and access to executive lounge which was excellent. The hotel is a little old but very clean and everything was functioning in the room, Will definitely stay again.

This past week, while at the Sheraton Santiago Hotel & Convention Center (Santiago Chile) my suitcase was damaged while being held in storage after checkout (from 11:30 to 5:30). The hotel refused to accept any responsibility for the damage and accused us of lying when we said that the bag was fine when we dropped it off that morning.

We stayed here for 4 nights b/b in room with Executive club access. Room was very nice with lovely views. On arrival male who checked us in was not v responsive. He put a pending $1500 charge on our credit card but didn’t explain that this would show on our bill but that on departure it would be corrected to proper charges. He then tried to charge us a half day rate to get into room early by a couple of hours even though room was ready then and we had travelled half way round the world by then! No way - we waited at pool. He didn’t explain anything about club access and specifically what was included in our price and importantly what was not? We decided to eat buffet at pool one day. We asked head waiter price and he told us $44 each. Imagine our surprise when we had buffet + 3 diet cokes and a bill of $135? When we queried turned out drinks were part of wider buffet deal making whole cost around $65 each! We told them this had not been explained to us and after a lot of back and forward we eventually got this charge slightly reduced. Despite us having a b and b rate bill had one breakfast x2 on it! On query with reception we were advised we didn’t have breakfast nor access to club despite fact we had been there for 3 nights by then! We involved senior management and got this resolved but…..really. Final bill also included speciality gins x 2! We had ordered 2 Tanqueray which we knew were chargeable but we also knew price - this took managerial involvement to resolve also! In general, hotel was typical Sheraton. Pool area was nice and breakfast was good. Pool was a bit patched up and could be renovated. Food options were decent and not deadly price wise. Concierge staff member Amaranta was superb. Executive club on 21 floor was ok. Soft drinks, wine and pistols sours included but beer and spirits chargeable but available between 630pm and 830pm. Snacks there were ok but often there were not sufficient as some people used this as alternative to dinner. Our general problem was whether a lot of this smoke and mirrors with bill/charging was incompetence or duplicitous.

Good location, great pool, several restaurants. Hop-on hop-off bus stops directly in front of hotel. Splurge for an upper floor room, fantastic views and you get a great free breakfast in the VIP lounge. Walkable to restaurants, parks and South America’s tallest building.

This is one of the nicest Sheraton's we have ever stayed at. Great location, great staff, fantastic lounge, and great views. Pool is relaxing and plenty of room. The lounge was a highlight with great breakfasts and evening snacks and wine. We will be back for sure.

Lobby and lobby restaurant are well appointed but the couch where guests wait for transport is well beyond its sell by date. Check in was problem free. Concierge charged $4 per night for storing luggage in advance of our stay. Room was well appointed. Bed mattress and linen were good quality. In the bathroom everything was good quality and worked perfectly. The pool area is very good and gets the sun throughout the day, something that many other Santiago hotels cannot claim. Poolside service is slow and dirty dishes were not collected for 3 hours despite several requests. Breakfast buffet at the pool patio is good quality with plenty of variety. Lunch buffet, again at the pool patio was not impressive. A good variety but stale breads and dry overcooked grilled meats were underwhelming given the $120 price tag for two. Room service was poor. Cold dried out food, empty salt and pepper pots. In general this is a decent upscale hotel but food and service need to be sharpened up at these prices.
