This is an excellent hotel. World class facilities, swimming pool and restaurants. Interestingly Michael Jackson stayed here in 1996. The view from our room was spectacular, we were on the 13th floor. They were kind of enough to upgrade our room. Additionally, we also got a late checkout. At 6:00 PM! Our flight was departing at 8:50, so this saved...

Almost perfect. Service, attention, no noise, relaxing close to great mall and the the main offices in Santiago. The only negative point is the lack of taxi service late in the night. The food is pretty good and the breakfast is complete

Stayed here two nights prior to going to Valparaiso (two hours away) to go on a cruise. We also stayed here in 2009 and it's every bit as nice as our last visit here. Our first visit we had a large standard room with a view of the Andes Mountains. On this stay we booked a nice suite with a...

Having travelled for several hours we arrived in our club room on the 16th floor and requested a cup of tea or coffee. Although it was 9.30pm we were told the service would be available in the club dining area. The staff here said no we are closed and when I asked where we could get a tea or coffee...

I spent the last week in the Grand Hyatt Santiago attending a conference in the hotel. All I can say is that everything that I needed was supplied almost instantaneously, and that there were no problems - at all. This is critically important both as the conference co-chair, and as an attendee: I had many things to worry about, but...

Close to a major shopping center, close to the highway (or whatever cuts its way through the center of Santiago), breath-taking views of the Andes from the Concierge Lounge. Lounge serves an extended-style European continental breakfast and 5:30 hor d'oeuvres that can easily pass as Dinner (not to mention wine and beer). Pool is fabulous, although a bit chilly (no...

Rooms are ok but honestly for a five star hotel you would expect something more. We were in the 18 th floor and hace access to the vip club. Staff on the 16th floor is a total disaster. We stayed here for a few nights recently before catching a cruise out of Valparaiso. We are Diamond members, so we had access to the club and were given upgraded rooms. As of March 2015, the hotel is surrounded by road construction, which when complete will tie the hotel into the beautiful neighborhoods adjacent. Currently it is a bit of an island. The main locational complaint otherwise is that it is at least a 15 minute walk to the subway, but it is an interesting and pleasant walk. The subway system...
