This hostel is ok if you are on a tight budget. It's in a good location close to bars and restaurants, metro, Forestal Park, Cerro San Cristobal and Pablo Neruda's house. The staff is mostly very friendly, except for the one receptionist that went on a rant at me about 'English Speakers'. The bedroom and shower were not clean. The...

A really nice and helpful (albeit a bit confused) receptionist checked us in in the afternoon. The room was okay, nice area for relaxation and good kitchen. Bathrooms, however, were not very clean. The common showers leave a lot to ask for in terms of privacy. But the worst thing was the night receptionist. He played really loud music in...

Very sharming interiour of hostel. Simple and nice breakfast. You can use comfortoble kitchen. In the dorms you can use locks. Good location - near the colourful neighbourhood Bellavista, where are many good restaurants, the house of Pablo Neruda, hill of San Cristobal. A little bit complicated to have a shower with a hot water. Metro and the main bus...

This hostel is tipical good and big hostel: there's always the wired guy who lives is the hostel, some of the showers don't work, the Internet sucks, etc. What most I enjoyed was the attention of the receptionists, especially this guy named Vitor who is very kind and give good trip advices

The vibes in this hostel are great! Friendly people and staff, free breakfast, strong WiFi, nice common area, full kitchen, and small garden patio. And a low price for the dormitory rooms. The hostel is located in an area called Patio Bellavista.. where there are several great pubs and restaurants, both indoor and out. This area is a bit pricey...

We spent there 2 nights. On a plus side: - location in Bellavista, close to city center and main attractions; - nice decor, coziness; - staff - Sina is really helpful and easygoing girl; On a minus: - air circulation in room was nonexisting, even open windows did not help much; - WiFi does not cover the top floor so...

A friend and I spent two weeks traveling Chile and Argentina. We were unimpressed and dissapointed with our stay here and checked out after one day. After spending the weekend in Valparaiso (at a great hostel- Angel Hostel) we returned to Santiago and checked into Nomades Hostel. The man that was working at the front desk seemed a little odd, however...

We stayed at Nomades Hostel for 3 nights. Even though it was a bit confusion with the reservation (rooms had to be changed), this was our best hostel so far in Chile. Very good located between the downtown area of Santiago, the lively student-area and the green areas (San Cristobal hill, Santa Lucia hill, Mapuche-river). The reception staff is very...

I stumbled unto this hostel after my reservation at another hotel fell through. The owner was very receptive and offered a bed in one of the dorm rooms. It was just like other reviewers said: the bed was comfortable fully equipped with clean sheets and a comforter. I travel alone a lot and this was the best hostel I've ever...
