We enjoyed 2 nights in this lovely little hostal/hotel. Some rooms have ensuites. Basic budget rooms but very homely and comfortable. Kevin and Sebastian were both lovely hosts and very pleasant. The hostal is in Lastarria, we felt very safe in the neighbourhood, day and night. The hostal is just metres from cafes and restaurants, a little street market and...

Excellent option if trying to budget. Not a typical hostel. Great private room with fan and cable TV. Shared bathroom with small shower. If you are a "larger" person you might not squeeze into it. 😬 Awesome neighbourhood close to many major attractions. Tons of excellent dining options steps away.

I stayed here in a double room with shared bathroom in October 2015 and had a good stay. We were only there one night, arrived early afternoon and left very early the next morning to catch a flight. The staff were really nice and allowed us to check in early and then the next day even prepared and left a...

Our room had a bathroom. It was just like staying at a hotel. The staff spoke great English and were very helpful when I fell ill on the trip. I loved the poker theme! The common area was great! Meals looked nice!

Hostel is in a great neighborhood, close to the subway and walking distance from the city centre. Rooms are nice and clean, so are the bathrooms. Wifi is free and strong, staff is really nice and there is also a really nice breakfast. Hot water sometimes runs out and our room was a little cold, other that that, it's a...

We spent here almost one week all together and the rooms were nice and clean, clean toilets, but the warm water sometimes runs out. Also if it is cold outside the windows are not well sealed so it can get colder in the room. But all in all a great value for the price and also great breakfast! One of...

Poker Hostal turned out to be just the thing for us. Grandma and Grandpa traveling with the 13-yar-old. Plane got in at 4:00 A.M. and the owner responded on our first knock. Downtown Santiago, Chile -- CUTE neighborhood near the open air market (that's REQUIRED for us). Includes a delightful little breakfast, tips on getting around town, and Romeo the...

Sebastián is a great manager, always prompt to help! The bed is comfortable and the neighborhood is calm. The breakfast is simple, but I didn't find that a trouble. Easy access to subway (Universidad Catolica station). Cleanliness and wi-fi were very good!

I stayed there for a week. Extremely helpful staff, great location, charming rooms. It is located in the alternative, young and hip grounds of Santiago. Close to art galleries, design shops and bohemian culture. Young artists sell their works on the streets and there is a tiny flea market in the weekends. There are shared bathrooms on each floor which...
