Built to blend seamlessly into the neighborhood of Lastarria, The Singular Santiago combines the style of early 20th century buildings with neoclassical French architectural influences. The result is a striking new addition to the Santiago cityscape. The hotel’s design embraces the artistic heritage of the neighborhood, while adding a cutting-edge modernity: it is an innovative homage to the city’s history and culture. The interior of the hotel recalls the days of yore: a tribute to the palaces of past centuries that sets the tone for the entire environment. Each doorway is a portal not just into another room, but to another place: a Singular setting with an ambiance all its own. Everywhere you go in this Santiago hotel, you’ll experience yet another pleasant surprise. The endlessly indulgent spa. The superlative dining experience at the first floor restaurant. The dazzling views and refreshing cocktails in the ninth floor Sky Bar. Step out onto the elevated terrace, and you’re treated to a spectacular view: the Parque Forestal, an arboreal escape right alongside the hotel. The hotel is not only bounded by natural beauty, though; Lastarria is the epicenter of the arts here in Santiago. Walk just a few minutes, and you can discover some of the finest visual and performance art Chile has to offer at The Museum of Fine Arts, The Museum of Visual Arts, the Gabriela Mistral Center and more. Quite simply, we believe we’ve created a hotel worthy of the Singular name. We hope you’ll join us soon, and see if you agree.

My wife and I stayed in room 303 from the 22/11-28/11/24
The good:
Perfect location - the hotel is in the vibrant Lastarria district which felt safe and busy. Great food options within minutes walk of hotel : Liguria , Bocanariz , Chipre Libre (great value cocktails). There is an emporio la Rosa branch across the road for ice cream and sorbets and the Montana ice cream is a few mins walk
There are nice parks near the hotel for evening strolls which felt safe with lots of dog walkers etc the main attractions and museums etc are within walking distance or short Uber . Ubers did work very efficiently and cheap with consistent prices to the barrio Italia area which had a cool vibe and lovely restaurants too. The prices in lastarria seemed abit more than the other areas we went too
Friendly staff - the staff here are keen to impress and are friendly and helpful .
Breakfast - the breakfast is not a buffet but can order from an a la carte list which worked well and I guess reduces wastage . Food came quickly and was served in a friendly way
Rooftop bar - the food and drink in the rooftop bar was very good.
The room - the rooms are comfortable and well sound proofed
Not so good/what can be improved:
Excursions - Martin at the concierge is a very personable and helpful chap of what to do in the area . However unlike other hotels like the NAYARA atacama for example they do not do their own in house excursions and so they are arranged via a third party company . We did two trips to Valparaiso/vina Del mar and Cajón Del Maipo . We had a few issues with the quality of the tours and we paid for a private tour which then turned out to be a group tour - Martin dealt with it efficiently by knocking off 40% on the excursions which was a satisfactory outcome under the circumstances. Just be aware that the hotel doesn’t seem to have any control on what to expect on the third party excursions as Martin seemed as surprised as us at our experience.
Room service - the bath products are not refilled as much as should. And house keeping did not replace fresh towels on a few occasions when protocol was followed to have them replaced. The hotel staff will however happily provide anything when asked but I guess when pay for 5* one shouldn’t need to ask it should just “happen” .
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend the Singulaire for the location alone , and would like to say a big thankyou to the staff!

We stayed at The Singular for 2 nights to start our 10-day trip through Chile. We arrived at the hotel around 6am after a red eye flight and the staff was very accommodating in shifting some rooms around so we’d be able to check in and freshen up in our room. Our room (#506) was spacious, clean, and the double beds were comfortable. We had a balcony that overlooked a small park and patio tables across the street.
The staff we engaged with were very friendly and welcoming. The rooftop bar had great views of Cerro San Cristobal and surrounding neighborhoods. We had a light dinner at the rooftop bar and found the lamb empanadas savory and delicious; the mushroom soup earthy and flavorful; and the ceviche mixto well-balanced and with a fresh variety of seafood and a base we would have drank glasses of.
Our flight out of Santiago was scheduled to depart in the middle of the night and the hotel arranged for a take away breakfast and 2am transport (van) to the airport for $46.000 (~$46 USD). The breakfast was great and although the transportation was more than what we paid for our taxi to the hotel ($25.000 / ~$25 USD), the convenience and peace of mind was worth it.
Overall, The Singular is centrally located and provides quality rooms with a great staff. We would definitely stay with them again next time in Santiago!

A tranquil respite in the middle of the bustling Lastarria section of Santiago Chile. Rooftop bar, restaurant and small pool area was delightful. Perfectly located for views, great cocktails and delicious small bites. The room was perfectly appointed and tended to multiple times daily, We were out touring during the day and ended up having dinner in our hotel three nights , either in the rooftop bar or the fabulous restaurant downstairs. Everything was on point. We enjoyed the spa twice, the gym, and relaxing in the intimate lobby area. The location of this hotel is situated for walking to most historic areas of interest. Best home away from home we could’ve chosen in Santiago.

I had a king size bed with a balcony and view towards the Merced Street level and the beautiful Andes. The glass doors did a beautiful job of blocking out some of the street noise. The room had lovely accent furniture. And a very comfortable sofa.
It had the biggest and fluffiest bath towels. Bathroom was very elegant, with 2 bathrobes and slippers. Not enough hanging hooks . Great rain shower with strong pressure.
Coffee machine with 2 coffee pods, plenty of sugar but no milk. No tea bags. Bar fridge had 2 complimentary cans of coke and water (still and sparkling) replenished daily.
There was a lack of power points. The only available one was located at a very awkward position behind a heavy bedside table. The hotel had thoughtfully provided a power point adaptor.
There was a beautiful looking pool but only for looking beautiful and lazing around it. It was too tiny to swim.
The use of the dry sauna required a booking. Turned up at 6:23 for a 6:30 pm and was reminded that the booking was from 6:30 despite being the only person in the sauna.
Reception staff was lovely. Welcomed with a cold drink and a piece of lovely chocolate.
Breakfast was ala carte style, no buffet service which was quite awkward. You had to order everything, from butter/jams, how many servings of salmon/bacon, juices, bread types. Felt like a glutton when my breakfast order had so many items. Plan for a leisurely breakfast as service is very slow paced.
Jose Victorino Lastarri is literally around the corner and has many dining choices. In the daytime, it is a street with touristy craft stalls, and in the evening, enterprising locals selling clothes on the pavement. We encountered a few cannabis stalls.
The Santa Lucia hilltop is only a few minutes’ walk. The Plaza De Armas is about 15-20 mins walk and there were several museums along the way.
The Emporio La Rosa, famous for its ice creams, is across from the hotel.

The hotel is well placed in the central area of Lastarria next to Santa Lucia Hill. On the other hand, it is located on a very noisy busy street, even on the 7th floor: the rooms to advise are the 708/709 that overlook the back of the building.
The reception is cold, in front of a reception installed in the elevator access corridor. Withdrawal of $250 at the check-in without warning: this is a hateful practice. No porter outside to take care of the luggage. Error at check out: they tried (in vain) to charge us $35 a taxi whose reservation had been cancelled.
Rooftop swimming pool (unheated) with 8 deckchairs (in summer, guests must fight...).
Indoor and outdoor restaurant on the 9th floor in rooftop: excellent service – good cuisine more international than Chilean – excellent cocktails – lots of local bling bling customers outside the hotel – indoor room too loud.
The breakfast is good quality but the service is rough: you must insist on being installed in the 2nd living room with window rather than in the 1st without window.
We had opted for a suite (#705). This is not a good choice. The suite is spacious and well furnished but the bedroom is separated from the living room by a door and a wall because the suite is never just the juxtaposition of 2 bedrooms. The lighting in the hallways and bedroom is too dark and creates an austere ambience of an impersonal business hotel. Black and grey decoration with engravings whose texts in French have no tail or head. No toilet scrub: shocking for a 5* hotel or is it cultural in Chile? Beautiful books to read about Chile and the people of Tierra del Fuego on the living room table. A decent welcome fruit platter. The #705 overlooks a very noisy street and suffers from a frontal opposite with a horrible building across the street (see photo).
In short an address that we do not recommend for a tourist clientele.

This was one of the best hotels we stayed in Chile during our 2-week trip. The location could be a little strange in the night time outside, but absolutely safe inside.
The room was great in terms of size, cleanliness and the amenities provided. The bathroom is very spacious. The design inside of the hotel and in the rooms is very special.
the roof top restaurant was very good including the choice of food and drinks. The wine was great and the signature drinks were just amazing.
The staff at the front desk and in the roof top restaurant were all great! The transport to the airport early in the morning was also with very fair prices compared to other 5* hotels in Santiago.
All in all we definitely would choose it again for our next stay in Santiago.
The a la carte breakfast was not something we appreciated much. The room with tables was rather small and dark. The selection of food for breakfast in the menu was extremely limited for such level of hotel. It would be much better to have frequently changed small selection in buffet setup in the roof top restaurant. We had early flight and had limited time for breakfast, ordering a la carte and waiting was taking a lot of time. The pastry was overbaked, not sure about the rest as we just did not have time to wait longer. If we stayed for more than one night it could be a bigger issue.

A true 5 star experience. The best things about this hotel are: 1. The food. The breakfasts were a treat each morning, and we also dined at the rooftop bar/restaurant one night which was excellent quality. 2. Rooftop pool is great (though not a huge space) as well as the spa in the basement. 3. Service was friendly with excellent english spoken by all staff members. 4. Room was generous size with a stylish decor, comfortable bed and good shower/bathroom. 5. Location is the best in town. You're better off staying here than in the Viticura neighbourhood which while nicer/cleaner, lacks a bit of charm.
The only negative / feedback for management: the cleaning staff seemed a little disorganised. One cleaning lady left her glasses on a table in the room, another day we found lipbalm belonging to a prior guest in the gap between the couch pillows, and some of the paintings were not hung straight I assume due to being moved during dusting.

The Singular Hotel exceeded our expectations! We stayed here for a week and the service we received was phenomenal. The staff at the hotel was arguably my favorite part. The breakfast each morning was cooked to order with a wide variety of delicious options and the staff working provided lovely conversation and excellent service (special attention to: Javier, Arantxa, Fabián, as well as Nicolas and Felipe). My husband got sick during our stay and everyone on the hotel staff went above and beyond to make sure he had everything he needed. The front desk and concierge were great and helped me with activities or anything else I needed. The staff went the extra mile and the little gestures meant a lot. The hotel itself has tasteful furnishings/decor that are mix between modern and traditional. The room was extremely quiet (could not hear neighbors or street noise!) and equipped with high end bedding/towels, daily water, and historical information. Housekeeping team was wonderful as well. I utilized the gym and it had variety of equipment and weights. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again next time I'm in Santiago!

The Singular Hotel exceeded all my expectations. From the friendly welcome we received when we arrived until the final goodbye, everything was perfect. Due to mobility issues, I had a ‘handicap’ room which was extremely comfortable. There were two large single (or two small double) beds, a table with a welcome bottle of wine and sweets left every evening. The bathroom had a walk in shower, bath and double basin. Towels changed twice daily if needed. The room itself was very quiet and there was also a furnished balcony for us to enjoy sitting outside. There is a bar/restaurant serving meals and a wonderful restaurant and rooftop bar where I was happy to have dinner, either inside or outside where the view and ambience was lovely. I was also rather hooked on the cocktails they offered, it was just so relaxing sitting there at the end of a full day sightseeing. The restaurant staff were incredible and extremely efficient. They did their best to seat us where we wanted to be and they were so knowledgable about the wines. I did get a very interesting rundown on the background of one wine I especially enjoyed. I was told the history of the vine and how it came to be what is now the most famous local grape, the Carmenere. In spite of having other diners, the lovely Felipe’ took the time to explain as he could see that I was interested. Thank you Felipe’ I will remember your kindness and good humour for a long time. Downstairs in reception we were also looked after very well with friendly greetings waiting for us.every time we returned to the hotel. One day a trip we booked was a no show. It was such a disappointment to lose a whole day touring when we only had four actual full days to explore. The reception staff came into their own with this one. Gary could t do enough for us, spending a long time trying to find out what went wrong. We went out to try and make the most of that day and on return, Gary had continued with his enquiries and discovered that the company the tour was booked with had closed down and not operating. He had all the I formation, translated it from Spanish to Portuguese and had given us enough information to request a refund from the agent. Gary, thank you if you are reading this. I do hope to return to Santiago, it’s a most surprising, interesting and colourful City full of kind and generous people, no less all those working in the Singular Hotel!

Super well located hotel. The service is very good and the rooms are very comfortable. The breakfasts are very rich, they are a la carte, it is advisable to hire a room with breakfast. The spa is also of very good quality, we ordered a package and changed the massage for 60 minutes (it was 30) and it was great! We would gladly return!

Restaurants, yes. Just a few moments walk away there's a side street packed with nice options and the general area has plenty of options. Bars are a little less prevalent, but there's a few coffee shops about.
There are more places to choose from in the Santiago area.
