The hotel was booked by the organization I was visiting. The location is in Provincia district. I had a single room, which was quite small. The amenities are dated but reasonably clean. Wifi was pretty good. Breakfast includes scrambled eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, fruit, juice etc. and was ok. Although the experience was not bad, I would not choose this...

Actually this hotel was booked through Hotwire website. Hotwire gave as examples Radisson, Embassy suites, etc. and assigned this Alcala del Rio hotel, which is by far not comparable to those examples given on Hotwire website. Alcala del Rio is located in a good place, but is a very old hotel, not clean, small bathroom, uncomfortable pillow, etc. I booked...

This will never be a grand hotel because it is built in a small lot but it could be very nice since it has a good location but it's best days are gone and needs some remodeling. Rooms are small but ok, specially for an overnight stay. The carpets look old and the same goes for the bathroom but the...

Hotel was located in a business neighbourhood a 5 minute walk off Providencia and one block from the river walk. There were a few restaurants and mini-marts on the street. Walking up to Providencia provided bus service, metro station (2 blocks) and EKONO market. Hotel was somewhat older; however room was comfortable with a refrigerator and mini-bar. Bed was comfortable....

Quick side note: It cracks me up when fellow Americans complain about the size of a hotel room outside of the states. I had a double room here and it was quite a bit larger than most rooms I have occupied in other countries. Welcome to the world of international travel, where clean, cheap, and safe are the important things!...

I'm not super picky about accommodations, but this hotel left something to be desired. It was fine in terms of having a safe and clean place to sleep within reasonable walking distance to restaurants. However, the bed slumped in the middle, the pool was dirty, the atmosphere was overall just dingy, and the location was off in a neighborhood. The...

I've been in Alcala del Rio with my wife for four days. The hotel has an old fashion style, but the bedroom is very large. The bathroom is not good, the sink is very small, and the shower floods the whole area. The room is quiet during the night, we slept well all nights. The staff is very good, the...

We chose this hotel based on convenience and found it to be acceptable - not much more. It is situated in a pretty good location in Providencia but like other have said, the place is pretty dated. Our main complaint really had nothing to do with the hotel but more with the AC. If it was on, it beeped loudly...

It was a dreadful experience: - 3 of 6 days the air conditioner did not work (in the middle of winter!!!) - The tobacco stench was overwhelming (disgusting curtains) - Filthy spots in the carpet (A LOT) - A blanket left as a solution to the broke air conditioner was shelter-like - The room had space barely to stand up...
