This is a typical low cost low fare place. I've booked for only one night and I have to say i would not stay longer. My room looked dirty and it was way to warm (summer time) so we kept the window open. Bad choice, for two reasons: 1-mosquitos! 2- noise. There is not much you can do about mosquitos...

From the moment I arrived, the staff were so friendly and make you feel right at home! I stayed in the female dorm which was clean and comfortable. I like that they have free breakfast & dinner, what other hostel does free dinner?! & for me, the portions were more than enough and they served something different every night of...

We absolutely hated this hostel. It felt unsafe for some reason - which was probably just our impression but there was nothing cosy at all about this hostel. We slept in an 8 bed room shared with a old man who snored a lot and another one who looked like a murderer (not hostel's fault I guess but just added...

The staff is one of the nicest I've seen at hostels. The facilities are comfortable, wifi is good and the breakfast and dinner are great! This hostel also has a very accessible location, walking distance to many stores and restaurants and also very close to public transport.

So just landed in Santiago and needed a place to stay a couple of days. The place looked nice so I booked. Got a private room, clean, spacious, confortable. The Hostel beat point is (in my opinion) the location ; cause it"s NOT in the center of activity. In Providencia, you are quite in the center of Santiago, but it"s...

I stayed here because hostels in Santiago are quite expensive and this was one of the cheapest things out there. Usually that doesn't promise anything good. This was however not the case in Aji Hostel. The location is great, very central and close to a metro stop. The rooms were alright. The lockers were available, but didn't seem very safe....

I've stayed 8 nights (not in a row) but came back all the time. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Very patient as well as I booked and canceled my bed for a few times. Wifi works ok, not in my dorm room though, too less plugs, beds noisy, floor as well, shower doesn't work well when both are active...

We stayed here for 5 nights and all in all the hostel was very good. Here are the pros and cons of it: Cons: - Not a lot power plugs. Only one in every bathroom (for the whole dorm) and some in the communal room (especially in the evening all of them are always used) - Beds are very sqeaky...

It was still dark in Santiago when I arrived at 7:00am. I found the house number and knocked on the door, unsure since there was no sign like most hostels have. A receptionist with a Caribbean accent answered with his iPad in one hand, playing Candy Crush Saga while absent-mindedly asking me if I had a reservation. When I said...
