Eurotel El Bosque is a 4* hotel in Las Condes, the business area of Santiago. It is surrounded by 5* hotels. We only stayed one night before traveling through Chili and the hotel fitted the bill perfectly. The room was well fitted and quiet, the bed was comfortable and I slept like the dead. Breakfast was standard. I would be happy to return

We arrived at Airport and didn´t have a place to stay. At the airport, had a lady who helps you to find one. She booked this hotel, wrote her name , the hotel´s adress, and the price for one night ( She called for the hotel confirming the rate and avaiability ). When we arrived at the hotel, the frontdesk lady said that was not there, but the other Eurotel ( for that rate) and they didn´t have available room, bla bla bla... We asked for a confirmation for the other and she went to talk with her manager. She came back and said that we could stay there for that price ( 85 usd) with breakfast and free internet ( just one pc ). The room was good, the breakfast too. The place is well located, good restaurant nearby( Coco Loco ) that we had dinner. The taxi from airport to the hotel is +- 14000 pesos..

I (sungle female traveler) stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in Dec.2012. It exceeded all my expectations (and I had stayed in several hotels during my South America Trip). I was given the apartment suite which was a large room with kitchen, king size bed and a big TV with several English channels.

The location is right where there is the district for all new hotels and restaurants. It is a great one to walk around. There is also a huge shopping centre 15 min walk.

Wifi was available at a cost . Two computers with Internet connection were available for free.

The front desk staff couldn't be any more helpful. Breakfast is nice (fresh fruits, eggs, toast, pastries, ...). Even though I tried different hotels in Santiago, if I ever return to this city, this hotel will be my No. 1 choice to stay. Thank you to the hotel staff for making my stay so comfortable and enjoyable.

The hotel was clean, rooms were also clean and adequate size and space, the staff was relativley helpful (some more than others and some speaking only minimal english), the breakfast was good, free internet access for hotel guests was a nice perk and also located in a private room. The only downfall was the fact that they tried to charge us for a 4 hour phone call which was only 4 minutes and if you open the magazines in the room you will have to pay for them....other than that is was in a very nice location with bars and restaurants very close by....

The hotel is located in the Las Condes district, a few km. NE from the centre of Santiago. The taxi transfer from the airport took about 30 mins. I stayed 4 nights B&B prior to a cruise. Note ... the hotel does not have a restaurant.
At check-in, I specifically confirmed that the room I’d been allocated had a bath ... it did not. I was swiftly moved to another room which not only had a bath, but had a much more pleasant outlook overlooking the hotel’s lovely little garden & patio, albeit surrounded by high rise buildings!
The room had a small kitchenette (I don’t know if all rooms have one), but this proved to be sparingly-stocked. Even the kettle was missing, as was the ironing board, both of which were obtained from the room I was initially allocated! I was provided with coffee & milk.
I don’t know how busy the hotel was, but there were few people at breakfast during my stay. The food & beverages on offer were good & excellent omelette was made to order.
I was in Santiago during the civil protests / state of emergency & the staff were very kind & helpful to me. Although the city centre was off-limits, I was able to explore the Metropolitan Park (c.20 mins walk) on foot & using the funicular & teleférico / cable car. The views of the Andes Mountains & city from the park’s San Cristóbal Hill are fabulous.

The hotel overall is in a nice location, however it has several problems when it comes to its overall picture. The staff I found friendly but a bit dodgy, but perhaps it's due to my relatively weak Spanish as I could mostly communicate with them in Spanish only. The design of my room is pretty much 80's style, which wouldn't be bad overall of course as it can be entertaining as well, however unfortunately several things did not function as they were supposed to. The toilet-malfunctioning was the most annoying thing, which I mentioned right upon my arrival. Instead of calling the maintenance or switching me to another room, the receptionist boy came up and showed me how to dismount the toilet and what to press if I want to flush it... that did not sound too professional. The breakfast is quite weak.
Other bad experience was when I was leaving early morning, at the check-out the night receptionist really wanted to sell me a taxi ride, although I was using an app. Whilst I was waiting for the driver, he was continuously convincing me and it wasn't a good experience at 3am.

Great place to stay. Within walking to the Sky Costanera in the Costanera Center Bldg (Largest and tallest building in South America). Felt very safe even walking around at night. Not in the primary tourist area but things to see in the area. Basic breakfast included. Was quiet and clean. Restaurants nearby.

Booked as part of holiday package. Hotel is in a business district, nice area with a wide selection of restaurants nearby. A little outside the main tourist areas, though underground is within walking distance and is easy to navigate. We found it a convenient hotel for a short visit to the city.

Room was basic but had everything we needed including free wifi and safe in room. We were able to get into our room early which was great as we arrived in at 11am after ~20 hours travelling. The bathroom door in the room didn't close properly but we didn't ask to move as we preferred to be in the room early. Breakfast was basic.

This is a decent hotel in great neighborhood. Room is on a smaller size facing commercial building. Room is very clean. Shower has decent water pressure. Bed is firm and clean. Sleep quality is average - nothing major to complain. Internet works fine. Breakfast is very basic. Service is good and friendly. Neighborhood is full of restaurants - too many to count and feels safe to walk.

I stayed here in June 2012 and recall feeling that was excellent value for money. I have just left, after a five day stay. The rooms, wi-fi and (rather dull) breakfasts were exactly as last time. Perfectly good for a downtown hotel thst doesn't pretend to be in the deluxe category. What surprised me was the price! I recall feeling that it was good value. However, the rack rate was a staggering $ US 190 per night. I paid $ 138 per night and thought that even that was excessive.

OK, Santiago isn't a cheap city, the hotel is in the Las Condes area.... but.

I'd happily stay here again - but if someone else is picking up the bill, it'll be the Plaza El Bosque for me. It's A1.

Eurotel El Bosque is good, but feels too, too pricey.
