Great location in Cerro Alegre near plenty of recommended restaurants and locations. Staff were super helpful always and even held our bags for us for a night after check out as we went to Maitencillo for the night with no problems. Breakfast is one of the best you will get at a hostel with scrambled eggs and ham, toast, mini...

Andrew Thank you so much for you lovely review. We're really please that you enjoy your stay at our hostel and you like the breakfast with our tea shop El Arbolito de Te. Its very kind that you mention the problem with the skylight wich let us know of the light comming early morning, for that matter we're looking the...

This is a great hostel. The large room had a flat screen TV, was heated, and very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was great (with fresh juice each morning). The only downside is low water pressure in the shower, but I can live with that. As far as hostels go, this is one of the...

First, I have to disagree with the previous review of the staff, they were the best part of the stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, providing maps of the city and ideas of attractions to see. Oh, also the location was wonderful - right in the middle of Cerro Alegre, close to lots of restaurants. It was the...

Sarah Thank you for writing a review for our Hostel. I'm trully sad to hear all the problems that you had by staying with us, specially because I was able to change the problems into a solution, for now on we're not going to allow smokers in the indoor patio, as well as noise in the reception. Regarding the hot...

I booked this hotel in Valpo after reading the recommendation in the 2012 Chile Lonely Planet guide. I now regret having done so. When I go to this kind of accommodation (sort of owner run bed & breakfast style) I expect to receive a friendly and personalised treatment. After all, this is one of the reasons why you don't go...

Previously called Hostal Nomadas (as seen in the lonely planet guide), Hostal Cerro Alegre is a clean accommodation right in the middle of the street-art sector and is itself packed with the lively artistic creations of the house maestro. Location and building aside, it's the staff that makes this place really special - from the Argentinian chefs which run the...

We stumbled upon this hostel by chance and I was very happy with my decision to stay there. The hostel is beautifully decorated, most of the artwork was done by the previous owners. The rooms are decorated simply but nicely, they offer all amenities; a lounging area, kitchen, dining room, breakfast room, showers, and breakfast. I have to say it...

We felt very welcome at Hostal Nomades! It was in such a great location on Cerro Alegre! Close the elevators of Concepcion and Reina Victoria- it was easy to get around. There were so many nice restaurants and cafes (and small grocery store) very close, it was easy to grab a bite to eat. We ate a a great Spanish...

Staying jn the creative buzz of Valpariso this was our place to be. In the middle of cerro Allegre, close to many good restaurants and street art this B&B is a perfect base to discover Valpo. The house is also expedition centre for the owner's arts, so the rooms and common areas are well decorated. The breakfast is luxurious for...
