Was very impressed with cool hotel Fauna! If you are into design this is the place for you! Everything about this place is cool: the building, the decor, the restaurant, even the soap is cool! Have probably never had better hotel included breakfast. And the staff is helpful and service minded beyond expectation. Only minor issue is the very sparse...

Beautiful, great location , wonderful staff. Best rooftop view in the city! The staff helped us in every way, from where to park, where to eat, booking tours, and each of the recos were excellent. They were booked later in the week and we had to stay in another hotel and while it was good, the experience was day and...

We really appreciated the location of this Hotel as well as the stylish design which included repurposing the materials to build it from the prior structure. It is a very hip place with a great bar/ restaurant on the top floor. That said, they could do with a few more substantive guest amenities like a closet and clothes hangers. I...

This hotel is interesting and the staff were friendly. We had lovely views of the bay from our window and also from the restaurant. The rooms are quite basic, but still comfortable. We had a tasty dinner in the restaurant and the waiter adjusted the menu item to suit my request. The only problem we found with this hotel was...

Hotel Fauna is a beautifully designed and wonderfully run hotel. The staff helped us every day with activity recommendations, make restaurant reservations, arrange a driver for a wine tour in Casablanca, and make sure our overall stay was perfect. The rooftop is an absolute highlight for breakfast and happy hour every day. The location is PERFECT for exploring the best...

Located in a great neighborhood just off the Victoria Reina lift, this is an excellent choice for many reasons. The rooms are large and modern if a bit funky......fitting with the area. Great restaurant on the top level for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Very expansive breakfast included. Great views. Awesome staff.

Would NOT RECOMMEND visiting this town! I was assaulted by a thief on the street! the police had no interest in pursuing the crime! I should have known when the Police cars had tight mesh metal caging covering the windows and the Police wear BULLET PROOF VESTS! This area is very dangerous and Black Market jewelers abound! Everyone seems to...

The hotel is in a tremendous location at the heart of the Concepcion area, very near the top of Reina Victoria funicular lift, with great views. The staff were exceptional in friendliness, support, and responsiveness. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable, with good size en-suite bathrooms with modern fittings and great showers! Our first room had exposed...

The old town in Valparaiso is a bit run down and clearly past it’s prime as a major seaport. Graffiti has been elevated to an art form and has been used to beautify the old buildings. The hill overlooking the harbor has been transformed into an artists community and the Fauna Hotel is located in its center. The Fauna Hotel...

We loved our time in Valparaiso, and our time at the Fauna Hotel and Restaurant. The hotel itself is interesting - beautiful contemporary architectural elements to combine two oldish buildings. Like most things in Valparaiso, it is in a VERY steep part of town where buildings seem to hang off cliff faces - literally in our case. Our room was...
